Facilitating fast file transfers up to 10 Gb/s, the Sony MRW-G1 is a memory card reader designed specifically for CFexpress Type B memory cards, as well as XQD card types. This reader takes advantage of the card types' fast transfer speeds and allows you to move data over USB 3.1 Gen 2 for post-production editing and file storage. Both USB Type-C to Type-C and USB Type-C to Type-A cables are included, too, for wide compatibility.

Had to wait for the Z7 to get its update to accept CFexpress cards and this is the logical choice to keep the XQDs and get larger storage of the CFexpress. A seamless transition from old to new card reader. 5

I have several express cards and readers and this one is the best. It's big and gets hot but it always works and its easy to load and dismount cards. 5

Wow! This reader is super-fast when transferring files using the USB-C connection. It is solidly built and doesn't feel cheap. No driver needed for PC machines. I cannot confirm for MAC. 5

When I go out for photography, I usually take a few hundred. This memory card reader lets me transfer my files a lot faster, plus I don't have to leave my camera on which drains the battery. 5

I initially bought reader at 1/2 that made the card dangerously hot. The Sony MRW-G1 keeps the card cool and is superfast. Highly recommend. 5
