The black Countryman E6X Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 1/4" Connector for Line 6 Wireless Transmitters is a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.

The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6X earset's cable terminates to a 1/4" connector for direct connection to Line 6 TBP06 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.

The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it work with rode wireless go II? As I know not every lav mic with Rode wireless go II.

A: Yes, the Saramonic SR-M1 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone Cable with 3.5mm TRS Connector will work with the Rode Wireless GO II transmitter units.

Q: 2. Is the item compatible with the Sony A7s?

A: Yes it is. The Sony A7s has a 1/8 inch mic level input. The Kopul attenuator would be used coming out of a line level source.

Q: 3. Is this product TAA complaint?

A: The RDL STA-2A Dual High-Gain Line Amplifier Made in the U.S.A. and is TAA Compliant.

Q: 4. Can I use this to add a headphone jack to my Panasonic G7 to monitor audio?

A: Yes you can. That is a cable to go from line level to mic level. Used so you can plug the output of a line level recorder out. Into a camera at mic level in. With a headphone jack.

Q: 5. Is this compatible with android devices?

A: You can use the Kopul ACH4-25MON with an Android device but you will need to use it with a 3.5mm TRRS adapter to convert the plug from 3.5mm TRS to TRRS since smartphones have a 3.5mm TRRS connector. The Rode SC4 3.5mm TRS Female to 3.5mm Right-Angle TRRS Male Adapter Cable for Smartphones (B&H # ROSC4). Another option would be to use a similar cable that already has a TRRS connector such as the Movo Photo TCB2 XLR Female Microphone to 3.5mm TRRS Male Smartphone Adapter (B&H # MOTCB2) or the MXL Female XLR to 3.5mm Male TRRS and 3.5mm Female TRS Multimedia Adapter Cable (B&H # MXMMCABLE1).

Q: 6. Would this be able to hook line out of zoom H6 into mic input of another recorder (h1n or computer) for a back up recording of zoom h6? Or can you just use a regular 3.5mm aux cable? Thank you!

A: Yes, you can use the attenuator cable to connect the line out from the H6 into the mic input of another recorder. If the second recorder that is being used for the backup recording accepts line level input signal, then you can use a standard 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRS aux cable. As an example, Zoom's H1n accepts mic and line level through its 3.5mm TRS input. Just check the specs for the audio inputs on your backup recorder to be sure of what type of signal it accepts.

Q: 7. Does it interfere with the DJI Wireless Mic like the Rode Lavalier Go?

A: The Saramonic SR-M1 is compatible with the DJI Mic transmitter units.

Q: 8. Can I connect to the Rode Wireless GO II 2?

A: Since the BOYA BY-M2D Dual Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphones have a detachable Lightning cable with a standard 3.5mm TRS connector and operate using plug-in power, the BY-M2D should work with a standard 3.5mm TRS male to 3.5mm TRS male cable like the Pearstone Stereo Mini Male to Stereo Mini Male Cable (B&H # PEMMSA103B) to connect to other devices that have a standard 3.5mm TRS mic input and supply plug-in power. Although we have not tested it with the Wireless GO II transmitter, the BY-M2D should work when using the stereo mini aux cable.

Q: 9. Does the windscreen come off?

A: Yes, the windscreen can be removed from the Saramonic SR-M1 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone Cable with 3.5mm TRS Connector (Black).

Q: 10. Would I be able to use this on my BMPCC 6k Pro?
