A: The new minimum focus distance when using this extension tube would depend on the focal length of the lens you are using along with the lenss native magnification. You would really only want to use the extension tube for macro work. When using extension tubes, the lens looses the ability to focus at infinity, so would no longer be able to focus on objects in the distance.

Q: 3. It looks like it doesn't have TTL or ETTL so do you just wing it in Flash mode?

A: For the Joker2 1600 and our Joker2 800 their is an alternate rear cap that will be available in about 8 weeks that will allow you to mount a Tungsten 2k or 1k lamp in the same socket as the daylight version. The igniter cap is removed by Two screws and un-clipped from the buglite head. You can the mount the alternate rear cap that has an on/off switch and plug so you may use the tungsten lamps. This allows you a 2k/1k Tungsten Par or buglite when you need it without having to carry an additional fixture. This is a very quick, simple swap of caps.

The brightness output in foot-candles is 421.9 fc, while the output in Lux would be 4541 lux at 3.3 feet (1 meter). The flash should work in burst mode, but as the date/time of this reply, Rotolight does not indicate the maximum burst speed compatible for use with the NEO 3 LED light fixture.
