The light beige Countryman E6i Directional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and LEMO 6-pin Connector for Micron Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6i earset's cable terminates to a LEMO 6-pin connector for direct connection to Micron TX 700-Series wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it fit on a galaxy s6 active

A: Yes

Q: 2. Could the flex mount be removed to mount on cameras instead of phones? If not, would there be any downside to cutting off the flex mount so it could fit?

A: Hi Caleb, no the VideoMic Me won't connect direct to cameras as the connection is a TRRS plug designed for smart phones. The VideoMicro is essentially the same microphone but designed to sit on-camera. a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1183909-REG/rode_videomicro_compact_on_camera.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1183909-REG/rode_videomicro_compact_on_camera.html/a

Q: 3. A) Will the Rode VideoMic Me work with a Canon EOS M by using a TRS to TRRS cable?B) Will the Rode VideoMic Me work with a Canon EOS M by using the original audio connector?C) Does the Rycote Lyre Shock-Mount of the Rode VideoMicro also work with the Rode Videomic Me?

A: Hi, if you are hoping to use the VideoMic Me mounted on-camera you would be better off using the VideoMicro, which is essentially the same mic capsule and acoustics, but with the shockmount, form factor and standard 3.5mm TRS output designed for use on cameras.

Q: 4. Although I read that it says this mic will work on an iPhone 5, but either I can't get it to work with the default camera, or I don't see a difference in using it versus not using it. What gives?

A: There is a very distinct and pronounced difference in sound quality. It should work fine with the default camera app. The iPhone should record sound only from the VideoMicMe. The unit may be defective.

Q: 5. Does anybody have any experience with using the video mic me with apps like FaceTime or phone calling?

A: I use it for Periscope, worked great....

Q: 6. Will the mic work with a Google Pixel phone(android OS)?

A: Yes, this will be compatible with the Google Pixel.

Q: 7. Most demonstrations of the Rode VideoMic Me emphasize audio for closeups--either selfies or interviews. How will the mic work at greater distance from the sound source--10 feet, for example?

A: Just like any other mic, John. Camera mounted mics, boom mics...any mics sound better when you are closer and worse when you are further away. The Rode video mic does have an interference tube to help block out sound from the side, which does help. It's WAY better than the little pinhole mic in the phone. When I get further away, I use a lavalier mic. I do have a long cord, but I prefer to plug the lavalier into a small Zoom audio recorder, which fits in the pocket. Then I snyc up the sound in post. Otherwise, I keep my subject close up.

Q: 8. I’m confused if this is the cable to jam sync a Tentacle with a Sound Devices 633, or is it the C02?

A: The two cables are directional so it depends on which device you are using to generate timecode and which is receiving timecode. You'll see an arrow on the white band near the 3.5mm connector that shows the direction of signal flow for each cable. The C03 is for sending timecode from the 633 into a Tentacle Sync and the C02 is for sending timecode from a Tentacle Sync into the 633.

Q: 9. Hello when attached to a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with wind screen for back facing camera will the mic be seen in the shot since the camera is right next to the rode mic when mounted

A: It's hard to say without having tried it myself. I have used it with an iPhone 6. I'm sure you could adjust the fluffy part of the wind screen in such a way that its outside the field of view.

Q: 10. Based on the direction of the tentacle, is this version a female 5-pin LEMO? I'm hoping to use to power my nucleus nano from my handle

A: The LEMO connection on this cable is is male, and it is designed for time code to be sent from a Tenacle Sync TC generator to a device with 5-Pin female TC in.

The display on my last intervelometer became too dim to read. I've just gotten this one and it works great. I like the ability to turn it off.

One of the largest factors for me when choosing equipment is ease of use. This timer, right out of the box, was exceptionally ease to learn and put into use. I literally, had it out of the box and in use within 10 minutes. It's about as close to plug and play as you're going to get, and has worked perfectly in the short time I've owned it.

Matched up with my Canon t3i. I've been using this remote everyday for a consecutive week, Day/Night time lapse, to make sure my review is decent.

All I do is set it, and forget it. The remote does what it says in the description, no surprises. Limited to 399 photos per session. It can even control lens exposure (as long as you set the camera to "BULB"). I deeply enjoy the backlit LCD, especially for night time / dark environments.
A pretty decent bang for your buck
