The black B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Very Low Sensitivity, with Hardwired 4-Pin Female Proprietary Connector for Fender Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is the least sensitive mic and a good choice for instrument applications, opera, or where the microphone will be positioned very near the mouth. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 4-pin female proprietary connector for direct connection to Fender Passport wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Very low, mic near user's mouth.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this clip also fit an Isomax 2 mic?

A: Unfortunately they do not make a vampire clip for the Isomax 2 only the B series of mic's.

Q: 2. Will this work with a Tascam DR 10L and will there be issues with needing extra gain to boost the sound level?

A: Yes it will work with the DR 10L with no additional adapters needed.

Q: 3. Just received two TR-50's with TA5 ends. Neither work with my transmitters - Lectro sonics UM400a and SMV. Can someone explain why?

A: I have previously ordered one from B & H, had an issue with it, and sent it back for a replacement with no problem. My guess is that some of their mics aren't getting qc'd very well.

Q: 4. How long is the cable and will this Tram TR50 Mic work directly in a camcorder such as a Sony Z-190 — with a longer XLR cable attached?

A: The cable for the TR50 is 4.5 feet long. The mic can be connected directly to the Sony camcorder or used with an additional XLR cable to extend the length. The mic requires 12 to 48V phantom power and the camera will supply it.

Q: 5. Will this work with the Rodelink Filmmaker?

A: Unfortunately at this time, we are only able to confirm proper operation with the Rode brand lavaliers.

Q: 6. Will this work with both the Lectrosonics UM400a & SMV Transmitters? Thanks.

A: The Lectrosonics SMV and UM400a transmitters both feature a TA5M connector which is compatible with the Tram TR50 wired with TA5F for Lectrosonics.

Q: 7. Is this mic waterproof or water resistant?

A: This rugged and reliable microphone is not rated for water resistance.

Q: 8. Can this tram mic be used by Deity Connect system?

A: Yes it can.

Q: 9. Is it supposed to be stereo? When I plug it into a Zoom H1 I only get left channel

A: This mic is a single-channel mono. Set your recorder for two channel mono.

Q: 10. Is it compatible with the Zoom H1 recorder?

A: I can't find an adapter that works to adapt it to XLR or 1/4
