The LiteMat Plus 3 Bi-Color LED Light Panel V-Mount Dimmer Kit from Litegear is a bright, soft, and color-accurate lighting solution for stage, studio, or location lighting setups. With a variable CCT range of 2600 to 6200K, all with CRI/TLCI ratings of 95, this 1728-LED fixture is powered by optional V-mount batteries and controlled onboard by the included LiteDimmer Plus. The LiteMat Plus 3 is lightweight and has an extremely thin profile, allowing you to mount the 30 x 21" unit on a separately available stand, hang it overhead, or even use it as a handheld fill light.

The LiteMat Plus 3's LEDs provide even, soft light distribution without requiring diffusion. Exclusive to the Litegear brand, the fixture's CineMitter chips are cinema emitters that allow for color-accurate LED lighting. They provide up to 40% increase in brightness over traditional emitters, making the LiteMat Plus 3 capable of delivering up to 4898 lux at 3.3' (6000K).

This LiteMat Plus 3 version comes with a LiteDimmer Plus DC200V that works great for powering select Plus series fixtures. With DC input power, the 200W unit accepts two separately available V-mount batteries. Additionally, an optional AC power supply can be used and attached to the battery mount using an optional mounting plate.

Q: 1. Hi, I would like to know if the free Dracast 90Wh 14.8V Lithium-Ion V-Mount Battery will b charged on the Dracast LED500 or need an extra battery charger not included?

A: You would need to purchase a battery charger for the Dracast battery included with this panel. A charger which can be used is the IndiPRO Tools D-Tap Pro Battery Charger B&H # INPD1013. Please see the image below for reference.

Q: 2. Is this great for reception wedding wherein you want to light up the reception (when dark) ?

A: These LED are more designed for use in a interview. For use in a wedding it will highly be dependent on the camera settings and the size of the venue.

A: Yes, three stands, all lights except for the smallest cowboy light

Q: 4. What is total light output equivalent to say quartz light?

A: A 500 bicolor has 250 orange and 250 blue leds. Set at 3200K only half of the leds are on, same thing at 5600k. With all 500 leds lit up you have something like 4000K. I would compare the output of this middle (brightest) setting to a 500 watt tungsten uh...sorta like a 500 open-face with a chimera, At 3200 or at 5600 somewhat less.

A: Unfortunately, no, we do not currently have a compatible softbox for the lights in the GVM LT100S Bi-Color LED 3-Light Panel kit.

Q: 9. Has anyone found an affordable storage/travel solution for this giant light? Soft or hard case/bag?

A: We do not have any dedicated travel bag or case for the LED2000 lights. However, we do have a couple of hard cases that will work. One is 29x18x10 and the other is 30x21x18 . Whether they are affordable or not depends on your budget. A: While this is a very bright LED panel, the brightness would depend on how far this panel is placed from the subject, how high or low the dimmer is set and which color temperature the panel is also set for.
