Available for download, the Overloud Choptones Brit J1 Preamp Rig Library recreates the tone of a Marshall JMP1 Preamp. It is designed for use with the Overloud TH-U platform. The preamp was emulated by Choptones, a company known for its emulations ported to multiple platforms. Choptones utilized two different power amps in conjunction with the JMP1 Preamp: the Marshall JCM800 power amp and a Mesa 2:90 power amp.

You'll find 154 rigs modeled in total. Twenty-six of these rigs have been created from the 26 factory presets of the original preamp. And 128 rigs are modeled with multiple cabinets, microphones, and overdrive pedals, to give you a wider range of tones. These rigs have been captured with Shure, Royer, Neumann, and other microphones. Cabinets from Marshall to Soldano to Engl have been utilized, and all manner of overdrive pedals, such as the Ibanez TS9, have also been modeled.

This expansion library requires either a full installation of Overloud TH-U or one of its editions to operate.

A: Yes it will.

Q: 2. Which camera/camcorder models are compatible with the remote function?

A: This tripod has a 9 pound load capacity and the remote accepts LANC protocols. It will work with any camcorder that is 9 pounds or below and has a LANC connection. LANC is found on a wide variety of Sony and Canon Professional Camcorders.

Q: 4. Is there a recommendation for some good suction cups that I can use with such a tripod? (I got 3 cats, they like to play with everything, I don't want to see my camera on the ground ;)

A: I am sorry to say we do not have suction cups for tripods like this. Your best option would be to fold up and store the tripod when not in use.

Q: 6. Is there a longer (telescopic) pan bar/pan handle available for this TH-X head?

Q: 7. How much counterbalance does this head have?

A: Hello, The TH-X H Head has a fixed counterbalance for camera setups up to 9lbs/4kg. Thank you for your consideration.

Q: 8. what model is the fluid head included??

A: Libec TH-X Head with Pan Handle.

Q: 9. Are the input and output impedances in this description correct? They're backwards from other the other Bellari preamp, and mismatched for common turntable cartridges as far as I can tell, but exactly backwards so I bought something else. I wanted this one, but since the company did not respond to my question, I did not buy one. Maybe someone has one and can test it.

A: Yes. The listed input and impedances of: Input: 47 K ohm (high impedance) and Output: 32 ohms(low impedance) These are the correct specs and typical (though the output impedance is lower than most phono pre-amps.

Q: 10. is this worth it even if the turntable has built in preamp?

A: If your turntable has a built-in phono preamp, then this pre is not required. The benefit to using an external phono preamp is usually based in the coloring of the sound it brings to the output of the record. External phono preamps of good quality, such as this, can offer more depth and clarity to the audio signal. As well, the cartridge impedance selector on this device can help you get the most out of the cartridge used.
