The Mini-TAC Pro defaults to the bright 100-lumen high output to lay down the maximum amount of light as soon as it's turned on, with two less bright outputs available plus a disorientating strobe mode for security and tactical professionals who need it. All outputs are available in both momentary and constant-on activation modes and are accessed using the single push-button tailcap switch.

To hold up to daily use and abuse, the housing is made of lightweight and durable 6061-T6 aluminum alloy treated with a black Type III hard anodized finish that resists corrosion and abrasion. The housing is sealed to an IPX7 rating that means it is waterproof and submersible to a depth of 3.3' for up to 30 minutes, and it is impact resistant to a height of nearly seven feet. Its compact and lightweight design is easy to carry in pant and shirt pockets or utility belts and pouches without adding excessive heft and bulk and fits comfortably in the hand when in use.
