Nightstick designed the TAC-300Y Polymer Tactical LED Flashlight to give firefighters, first responders, and search & rescue personnel a powerful and reliable illumination tool that is easy to use in high-stress situations when putting light precisely where it's needed is critically important. Outfitted with a powerful white Cree LED and a smooth, deep parabolic reflector, the flashlight outputs 180 lumens with a beam design that is optimized for a long throw. The light's momentary or constant-on activation is controlled by a simple and intuitive push-button switch located on the tailcap that is easy to find and use, even in cold and wet conditions.

Nightstick built the light in a high-visibility yellow color that is easy to spot in low light or if you drop it in a smoky room. Its 1" diameter handle makes it compatible with a wide range of third-party helmet mounts and a 1.25" diameter head lets you use a variety of specialized filters to manipulate the light's color. Weighing just 4.4 ounces with the pair of included CR123 lithium batteries, the light won't add excessive weight to your EDC kit, or head and neck if you opt to wear it on a helmet. The housing is made of lightweight and durable glass-filled nylon polymer to withstand high heat and abuse on the job. The housing is also sealed to an IPX7 rating, making it waterproof and submersible to 3.3' for up to 30 minutes in case you get doused with a hose, and it is impact resistant to almost seven feet so it can handle a fall better than you.

I am only interested in the 200 lumen version.

Q: 7. What kind of replacement batterys does it need?

A: Be carefully of what you replace them with, as due to the re-chargeable connections, you need genuine only, the C123 will not work correctly due to the end cap control switch that screw to secure the batteries are different, to the none chargable, I have 3 of these torches that all batteries are open circuit, must be a defect... :-(

Q: 8. Can I use the red light for darkrooms?
