The FORTEM Helmet Light from Nightstick gives firefighters two lighting options—a 25/100/250-lumen, forward-facing beam so you can see where you're going, and a 10/50/115-lumen downward-facing floodlight for watching your step and performing tasks. You can use both beams at the same time for maximum illumination. There's also a rearward-facing green safety light so fellow first responders can see you.

Certified intrinsically safe for use in hazardous environments, the FORTEM helmet light comes with a 360° pivoting mount compatible with virtually any fire helmet, whether it has an upturned or downturned brim. Its aluminum housing is IP67 dustproof/waterproof, submersible to 3.3', and rated to withstand drops from 6.6'. Runtime on a fresh set of two non-rechargeable CR123A lithium batteries ranges from 3.5 to 16 hours.

Q: 1. How much is the difference in size from L and XL? I don't want me to be out of adjustment when putting the camera and counterweights on. I would like you to tell me about your experience in use and that it remains exactly in the head so that it does not move.

A: The measurements overlap, as the S/M size range is 21.3-23.6" and the L/XL is 22-24.4". I recommend measuring the circumference of your head, by wrapping a string around your forehead and then measure the length of the string.

Q: 2. Is this compatable with a S&W M&P compact 2.0?

A: The Streamlight TLR-4 Compact Rail-Mounted Tactical Light with Red Laser for H&K USP Full (BH # STTLR4TLSRHK) will not fit with Smith & Wesson M&P Compact 2.0. It should work with the S&W M&P Compact 2.0 if used with the Streamlight 69176: TLR-3/TLR-4 Key Kit (will use Key "E").

Q: 3. Does the lowlight cut UV & IR pollution as well or will I need a hot mirror?

A: The RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC2 Skin Tone-Highlight/Low Light Optimized OLPF Pack (S35) should do a good job in reducing such pollution.

Q: 4. What is the temperature of the white LED? Can it be adjusted?

A: The color temperature of the emitted light of the Auray LED6-USB 6-LED Gooseneck Light (USB, Red/White Light), B&H # AULED6USB, is not specified. This product is not designed for critical or photo use where knowledge of color temperature would be important.

Q: 5. Can all iPhone sizes be held vertically with the clamp? Or would additional parts be required?

A: The smartphone clamp is not included with the Glide Gear POV100 Helmet (L / XL). The rig will have a 1/4-20" mount for attaching smartphone clamps.

Q: 6. Fits Dsmc1 Scarlet Dragon?

A: It will not. This is for DSMC2 cameras, not DSMC1.

Q: 7. Will this accommodate Nikon Z6iii body?

A: Yes, the LensCoat BodyBag Z for Nikon Z5, Z6, Z6II, Z7, Z7II Mirrorless Cameras (Black) will work for the Nikon Z6 III Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 8. Does this item include 2 OLPF's? 1 Skin tone, and 1 low light? Or is this just one OLPF that handles both attributes? The listing says "Pack" so I'm assuming it's two. Please advise, thanks!

Q: 9. What cameras can I use with the helmet. I'm planing to use a Blackmagic pocket?

A: The helmet has a 1/4"-20 threaded male stud - standard tripod type mounting to fit most cameras, camcorders and the BMPCC4K.

Q: 10. Do you think this could handle a 4 pound set up, with camera and lens??

A: We're afraid not. This is rated to handle up to 3 pounds.

Bought this to use with Soundcraft 22 channel mixer (which has a USB powered outlet). It's bright enough to use in a dark hall and still be bright enough to see the board and my script. This is the one to get. 5
