I was looking for a new backpack for hiking. My old one was great but I needed a little more space. I was worried that all the backpacks would be too big for me as I'm a petite person. This one is perfect! It has the little bit of extra space that I need, can fit my laptop, and fits me comfortably. I haven't taken it hiking yet but the straps and back seem like they will be very comfortable for it.

Was concerned with the price but as soon as I get it and felt the quality ofthis bag, definetely worth the $200 I paid.

I've owned and used this bag for 2 months so far, and can't imagine myself without it. I wanted a rugged bag that fit my camera gear and that wasn't as big as some of my other bags, and this fit the bill. I've used it mainly for trekking around the city with camera gear, my laptop, and an ipad, but I also took it on vacation and use it sometimes as an EDC when I commute to and from work. Camera gear has a strange way of expanding to fit whichever bag you put it in, which translates into more weight. If I 'overpack' this bag, it's small enough and light enough that I can still carry it around all day. The top pocket is perfect for keeping a film camera with 2 additional lenses within easy reach. The rain protection is great, and I usually feel like I can wait a bit until I need to bust out the rain cover. The material is thick and durable, and the straps are comfortable. One area that I think needs improvement is the water bottle holders. They can barely fit my Yeti tumblr, and if the bag is over-packed, they can not fit it at all, unless I put in a lot of effort. But that hasn't happened often. Another are is the length. There are times where I would like the bag to be a little longer. There are some items (some lenses, my wireless headphone case) that I want to put in the main compartment standing up, but need to be put in lying down or at an angle. But that's just nitpicking, and I trust the designer's decisions. All in all, I can see this pack lasting me (at least) 10 years of average use.

Choosing a backpack is hard and time consuming.I always wanted a backpack that would stay firm like the day I bought it and the Think Tank was the one!

Very well designed. Not too big, but will fit large lens on body with quick access from top. Easy to attach tripod with hidden straps on back if needed. Love the way it works.

I needed a bag that could fit under an airplane seat that could carry enough equipment for a graduation portrait-type shoot. It fit my Z9 (though very very snuggly), a speed light, my 24-70 2.8, a 13 inch MacBook Pro, spare batteries, battery chargers, cables, additional chargers, a nook, wallet, and a small liquids bag (lotions, mascara, dry shampoo). It easily fits my 70-200 2.8, attached, if I every wanted to carry it instead of my 24-70, but would not fit both. The airplanes were small, so any rolling bags were forced to be gate checked and I was not willing to trust my equipment to the airlines. I was hoping the bag would be a little bigger and my old D4 is much too big for it, but the bag worked perfectly for this trip. It was also very comfortable and, though it was quite heavy, it didn't feel heavy when I was carrying it on my back. I am only 5'2.
