Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit a Z9?

A: Yes, this will work with the Nikon Z9. This accommodates cameras with or without a battery grip; the Z9's size lines up with the former.

Q: 2. Will it fit to the Spider holster?

A: Yes, I wear it on my Spider holster. It's great to put memory cards, business cards, and even a small cell phone too.

Q: 3. Once I buy this system for $135. What additional equipment do I need to use it with two cameras and how much more will that cost?

A: If you want to adapt 2 cameras and use them one at a time you only need the plate and pin, $22.50 If you want to adapt the belt to carry 2 cameras at one time, $108 for the kit. You can buy a belt that accommodates 2 cameras up front for $211. I have this system and absolutely love it.

Q: 4. I have a Nikon d700 and a d810. My usual wildlife lenses are the Nikkor 70-200mm and the 200-500mm. Would I be able to carry both these bodies and lenses using the dual belt system? Thanks!

A: Hi Shaymala! Thank you Jeff!.. Yes, the SpiderPro Dual Holster will be most suited for this kind of rig. I would (for both lenses and especially if you are walking for long durations) make sure to connect via the lens collars (not the camera bodies). Carrying this way will balnace your heavy rigs. Please make sure you check that the Spider plates on these collars are situatred well, as large lenses create great amounts of rotational tourque. Depending on your Tripod style, you may want to look at our SpiderPro CLAMP (made for Arca-Swiss Style tripod plates).. Spider Holster will release a NEW lens collar plate (specifically designed for large lenses) this year, so please register with us. Thank you so very muchBest,S

Q: 5. I bought the Spider Pro Handstrap, but have lost the snap-on wrist strap that came with it. Can I purchase a new snap-on wrist strap separately?

A: Christine: I think your best bet would be to phone customer service at SpiderPro and tell them you lost the strap. They might sell or give you a new one.

Q: 6. Wi LL this work with Canon r6?

A: According to Spider, the newer Spider hand strap v2 would be a better fit for the Canon R6: https://bhpho.to/3utEOqc

Q: 7. Is there a way to wear a Spiderpro on my own belt, rather than the belt pictured?

A: Negative. One cannot wear the Spiderpro on your own belt. The connection is built into the belt. Furthermore, once you have the weight of the camera, lens and speedlite, the holster can become heavy and the thickness of the belt and the padding is helpful. I also find that wearing the holster in the same position as my trouser belt is uncomfortable, I loosen the holster slightly that it sits further down on my hip. If I was buying this again, I would definitely get the double holster. It is a great product.

Q: 8. What are the attachments that come in the box to attach the strap to the bottom of the camera? It doesn't say anything in the box . Im looking forward to your prompt reply. Thanks.

A: Most of us have trips mounts attached to the bottom of our cameras. It is designed to slip between the camera body and tripod mount and then tighten your tripod mount down to the camera once adjusted so that it is comfortable.

Q: 9. Can Oberwerth Lahn carry Leica Q2 securely? Or Oberwerth Isar is better option?

A: The Oberwerth Lahn would be sufficient for the Leica Q2.

Q: 10. What does the bottom strap hook into?

A: Sunpak Camera Grip Hand Strap screws into the tripod socket on the bottom of your camera.

I purchased this product in January 2017 so I have been using it extensively and all I can say is that I love it. I usually carry a 600f/4 and tripod but there are times when my subjects are at close range or they are too big for a big lens so that's when my 100-400 and 5D3 comes into the scene. Taking the camera out from the holster is a breeze. Highly recommended.

Solid construction, Works well. I like it better than a shoulder harness.

I have a D810 and was scared when I read all of the reviews about how the handle covers the battery area and they had to unscrew the strap to get a battery out and in. THIS IS FALSE!!! I don't really know why these people are having these issues. It does cover over the battery compartment but easily move out of the way to replace batteries and memory cards. It's not an issue at all! I love the strap and the wristlets. Super comfortable in my hands and has made shooting easier! Highly recommend this strap!

The holster than saves your back!! I can load my camera(s) and supplies right onto this and I'm ready for anything! Easy to take in and out of holster, holds well to the camera and frees up my hands. It's light weight and easy to put on. Highly recommend!

The construction is solid. The system to lock in camera or have it quick release is great. I went from a shoulder harness to this. i like this system much better.

Have used it on at least three occasions since purchase. Your video made assembly a snap. It holds my camera with the 100-400 lens very comfortably. Walked 3 miles with the device & it wasn't the least bit uncomfortable. The release mechanism is very quick & smooth & the camera fits securely every time (being paranoid I made sure each time I put the camera back. The triple latch mechanism on the buckle feels very secure.
