$26.85 $35.71

This MCS 5 x 7" Frameless Clip Frame has a 2.5mm MDF backing with a wood molding that has silver spring steel retaining clips. You can push in the retaining clips, which grab onto the front of the 2mm, non-sharp edge glass, so the backing becomes rigid to keep your mat board flat against the glass. The clips expand to accommodate up to three mats thick. Plus, the molding on the back keeps the frame 5/8" away from the wall, which gives the frame a floating appearance. The frame is wall mountable in a horizontal or vertical orientation thanks to a hanging bar within the wood molding.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the plate ever loosen when attached to the Capture Clip? It doesn't allow the camera to rotate (like the Spider), correct? Won't that loosen the plate if I'm moving around...like at all?

A: When the camera is engaged in the Capture Clip securely, via the Standard/Dual Plate there will be no concerns with the camera dropping or releasing. You just need to ensure that when engaging that you hear the click. Also, we suggest tightening the tripod screw in before heavy use which will remove the possibility of lateral movement loosening the screw over time.

Q: 2. I'm interested in buying this frame but I've got to ask how is it that a 20 x 20 frame only holds a 5 x 5 in picture where a 16 x 20 holds a 11 x 14?

A: The MCS 20 x 20" frame can hold prints much larger than 5 x 5". However, the included mat fits a print that is 5 x 5". We recommend separately purchasing a mat that would fit your print size.

Q: 3. Does the Capture Camera Clip v3 work with Manfrotto MS050M4-Q2 L Bracket? With or without adaptor?

A: I dont believe you can insert the l-bracket directly into the clip, but its possible you can screw the bottom of the clip somewhere into the bracket and use it like that.

Q: 4. Does the v3 clip works on Lowpro photosport back pack? Do we need to get a PD Propad?

A: The Peak Design Capture Clip V3 will not directly fit on the Lowepro Photosport backpack's strap due to its width (tested on the BP 25L AWIII). HOWEVER, there is a particular attachment point (seen in this photo: https://bit.ly/3Hd2V1F) half-way down the shoulder strap (on both sides you'll see a black horizontal strap that says Lowepro; on the right side it says Lowepro). That is a very secure point you may attach the capture clip to vertically that can support your camera and the clip. Or you may get the PD Pro Pad.

Q: 5. what type of material is this?

A: The MCS 27 x 40" Trendsetter Poster Frame (White) is made of plastic.

Q: 6. Is Peak Design CC-BK-3 clip compatible with SmallRig L-bracket for Canon EOS R5?

A: The Peak Design Clip for Capture v3 (Black) is compatible with the SmallRig L-Bracket & Shoe Mount Kit for Canon EOS R5 and R6.

Q: 7. will this fit the think tank pro and/or steroid belts?

A: It will be compatible with Think Tank Belts. Q: 8. I have the plate from V2. Will it work with V3 clip?

A: Yes, V2 plate works on V3. V3 plate POTENTIALLY could work with V2 capture. V2 capture sticks out more, so V3 plate might be too thin and thus the bolt on the capture might block the camera from sliding in. However, I find that I am still able to slide my mirrorless with v3 plate into a v2 capture if I turn it side ways.

Q: 9. Will this hold a Z8 with a 150-600 sigma or 180-600 nikon?

A: Yes, the Peak Design Capture Camera Clip v3 (Black) can hold a Z8 with a Sigma 150-600mm or a Nikon Z 180-600mm. However, it may not be comfortable.

Q: 10. Can the Peak Design Capture Clip be used on the straps of the LowePro Pro Trekker BP 550 AW II?

A: No, the Peak Design Capture Camera Clip v3 (Black) works with straps no wider than 2.5 inches. The Lowepro Pro Trekker BP 550 AW II Backpack straps are wider.
