A: Each port will run at its own speed. That said, you still have only one connection to your computer, so if all 7 ports are active, then speeds will appear to slow down. As to only one storage device being seen, that likely is a config issue with the OS. You will need to mount the second drive and assign a drive letter using whatever hardware configurator your OS has. For Windows, it would be in Computer Management, Storage, Disk Management. There you will find the drives, just look for the one without a drive letter. If it hasn't been, you may need to format the drive so it will be recognized.
