A: I would say it is a wash though I would bow to expert opinion from Fuji. One lens is a little wider and the other a little tighter. I suspect that image quality is pretty much the same. I would think you do fine saving your money.

A: No the rack ears do not come with it. The rack mount kit part number is RS-185.
