The Meprolight Micro RDS Mounting Adapter allows you to mount your red dot sight onto a Glock pistol. Most types of reflex sight mountings require you to have them permanently mounted or require you to sacrifice the use or installation of your backup iron sights (BUIS). This system integrates a quick release to easily mount and remove your sight in the field without tools or the need to re-zero and a set of BUIS built into the mounting, including a matching front iron sight. This innovative system allows you to quickly remove and effectively aim if there's a failure in your sight. Additionally, this BUIS system uses battery-free tritium illumination so the front and rear iron sights have simple white dots in the daytime and illuminated green at night. A: The most popular way to power the B4 2/3 lens with this adapter would be by using a V-Mount or Gold Mount Battery with a D-Tap port, such as batteries like B&H numbers WAVM95NE and WAAM95NE. (It will not work on a full frame sensor for it will vignette.) Regarding field of view, I suggest forgetting crop factor and learn what is wide, normal and tele is for the format you are using rather than calculating the crop factor of a format you are not using. For example, in Super35, 18mm is very wide, 32mm normal and 60mm tele. If you use a typical Fujinon 8.0-128mm Quick Zoom ENG HD lens and engage the 2x extender, it now is a 16mm to 256mm lens. This will give you the focal lengths for what you need to do and much more.
