The tan Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic, Medium Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and LEMO 3-Pin Connector for WisyCom Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a LEMO 3-pin connector for direct connection to WisyCom MTP30, MTP40, MTP40S, MTP41, and MTP41S wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Q: 4. Does this support Huawei phones???pls give me an answer.

A: any phone jack port that has audio and mic which is almost all will work. it has a port or listening in the rears you may want to take advantage of listening as you record because its a directional focus mic you loose a lot of noise near you.

Q: 5. Will the RDE VideoMic Me iPhone Shotgun Mic work on an Apple iPod Touch?

A: Yes.

Q: 6. Would this mic work for iphone 7 plus?

A: I bought one for my iPhone 5s and it worked but there was less than a 1 decibel improvement over the phone by itself In my opinion it was not worth my investment. I don't even use it.

Q: 7. Are these gloves heat resistant?

A: The Setwear Pro Leather Gloves (Medium, Tan) BH #SESWP09009 are not heat rated. Setwear Hot Hands are designed for heat. BH #SESHH05009

Q: 8. Several people have asked the question about using on a dslr. I would love to use this on a dslr because it has a headphone monitor and line out. My dslr doesn't have a headphone out. This device would almost solve the audio monitoring issue that most cheap dslr's have( no headphone jack out). I know that it wouldn't be the gain controlled audio from the camera but just the raw audio coming from the mic but it is better than nothing. So, It seems like this mic would work just fine for dslr, but I wanted to be 100% sure if the jack on the mic that is TRRS(the kind with the extra ring in the connector, not just a regular TRS jack) would work with a dslr camera? Does the mic need the extra ring for power?

A: Hi, you won't be able to plug this mic (with TRRS connection) into a DSLR (with TRS input). You could use the SC3 adaptor, but you will have nowhere to mount the mic to the camera. It really has only been designed for smartphones, not DSLR cameras.

Q: 9. Will this also work on DSLRs?

A: No, it will not. The design of the friction mount included with the Rode VideoMic Me Directional Mic for Smartphones, B&H # ROVMME, makes it virtually impossible to connect to the microphone input terminal on a DSLR camera or mirrorless digital camera which normally is on the side of the camera. There are small options from Rode designed for camera usage with a different terminal connection, such as either the relatively small Rode VideoMicro Compact On-Camera Microphone, B&H # ROVIDEOMICRO, or the slightly larger Rode VideoMic GO Lightweight On-Camera Microphone, B&H # ROVMG, all currently similarly priced (as of the date/time of this reply).

Q: 10. Although I read that it says this mic will work on an iPhone 5, but either I can't get it to work with the default camera, or I don't see a difference in using it versus not using it. What gives?

A: There is a very distinct and pronounced difference in sound quality. It should work fine with the default camera app. The iPhone should record sound only from the VideoMicMe. The unit may be defective.
