The light beige Countryman E6i Directional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 3.5mm locking Connector for Sony Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Sony ZTX-B01 and ZTX-B02RC wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

I have the Sony UWP Lav and receiver set - but I do not have the nice little transmitter module to plug into the mic directly - the UHF synthesized transmitter. That one is added into the more expensive UWP-Vs set. With this I do not need it. I can easily switch out the lav mic from the transmitter and plug directly into mult-boxes or even other XLR mics. The price is much better and I find it quite versitile. It even weighs less and doesn't need another set of batteries. Good stuff.

I use the Sony UWP-D11 Wireless Microphone System (purchased from B & H) for sending audio to my HD camcorder for weddings, meetings and events. One of the hidden features of this very intelligently-designed microphone system is that the MICROPHONE input on the transmitter can be switched to a LINE input. This allows you to take the XLR balanced line output of a mixing board receiving inputs from multiple microphones and transmit that audio mix wirelessly to your camcorder. This adapter lets you make that connection quickly, easily and reliably. Very handy!

Bought 3sets of UWP-D11 2 for dialogue 1 for boom mic. I'm using the Rode NTG2 (battery powered) connected to UWP Transmitter for wireless boom mic recording. :) Hassle free wireless setup.

I use a Sony UWP V1 kit with the mic/line option on the transmitter that I purchased from B&H 9 months ago for event videography where I can receive a clean board feed to my on-camera receiver instead of planting mics here and there. This cable performs flawlessly with my system even when I am 100 or 200 feet from the sound board. It is a simple item that is definitely a lifesaver.
