Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. Don't know how I did without this scrim all those years, what a game changer. The lighting options are so much better with the scrim. No more blown out highlights with my preferred settings. 5

This scrim is so awesome. Solidly built and the fabric cuts out light wonderfully. I've had it on a couple of gigs now and it just wonders especially in sunny outdoors. I get a nice shade from the sun. Do note that this a one whole piece. It does not collapse or disassemble. At first, I was surprised but thinking about it. This is one less item to breakdown and put away in my shoots. I can just grab this whole thing and toss it in the van. Great product and thinking of getting another. 5

Matthews 40x40 size scrim is such an easy solution. For production, not all requires a full grip and lighting truck. A lot of productions now a days are much smaller of a foot print on set, so these 40x40 allows you to work very efficiently while being able to bipass the larger grip trucks for a project.
