The black Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Medium Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and TA4F Connector for Line 6 Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to Line 6 TBP12 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

No issues. Does exactly what it says it should. The 25db drop works great into the canon 60d with my Zoom H4n headphone output maxed out at 100. Clean, crisp and everything I would want in an audio set-up for dslr.

This works perfectly for getting sound out of a portable recorder (like a Zoom H4n) and into both headphones and your Canon DSLR. I know cameras but I'm a novice when it comes to sound and I had no idea you needed to lower the signal before piping it into these cameras. Works like a charm.

Sending audio from the Zoom recorder directly to the Canon 5D II has simplified our post process tremendously. The 20db pad in the cable sends an optimal level to the 5D and still allows us to record at an even higher resolution in the Zoom should we need it. The cable is short to avoid unbalanced interference, so be prepared to mount your Zoom recorder near your tripod head or the camera.

Switching from pro video cams to 5d mkII drove me crazy since I could not monitor audio. With this little jewel you can monitor your H4N in real time while still feeding your 5d mkII an audio signal. It is a simple splitter, one side is a tap that you plug your phones into, the other feeds the camera. It has a pad which knocks down the line feed 25db so you can hear your audio but still feed a nice level to your camera. The build quality is top notch.
