I carry two full frame Sony a99 with one having a 24-70 f/2.8 and the other having a 70-200 f/2.8. I love the strap. So comfy for all day weddings. A: Both cables will provide sufficient attenuation for use padding a line level output signal from a device such as a portable audio recorder in order to match the mic level input on a camera or device with a 3.5mm mic input. -25 dB is typically enough, but -35 dB will provide even more attenuation. A higher level of attenuation would be needed if the -25 dB attenuation level is still overloading the mic input or if more headroom is desired.
