The Antari DarkFX Spot 670 is a high-output, low-power-consumption UV LED spot delivering a UV wavelength of 365nm and radiant flux output of 6760mW at full intensity with minimum visible light, ensuring that all UV reactive materials, art, amusement park displays, and signage reflects with stunning bright and vivid colors.

The DarkFX Spot 670 utilizes nine 1.9W high-powered UV LEDs with a 15° beam angle and special optics that prevent wear degradation from high-UV exposure. The high refresh rate provides flicker-free performance for TV and film. The aluminum housing offers a four-button LED control panel for programming manually or via DMX. The rear panel also includes inputs and outputs for 5-pin DMX and powerCON, allowing for multiple units to be daisy-chained. The Antari DarkFX Spot 670 ships with dual removable/adjustable yoke brackets for versatile mounting and deployment and a powerCON power cord.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Country of origin

A: The Nanlux Evoke 1200 LED Daylight Spot Light BH #NAE1200 is made in China.

Q: 2. Is there a charge capacity indicator, like a series of LEDs?

A: Yes this has an LED indicator on the side of the unit.

Q: 3. Does it come with the cable to connect the plate to the camera?

A: This does not come with a dc coupler, a dummy battery connected to a cable. You have to select the one that matches your camera's battery.

Q: 4. Can I use another brand LP E6/NP-FW50 dummy batteries? Thanks

A: This unit only works with NPFW50 batteries, the LPE6N will not work with this unit. You can use another brand dummy battery as long as the cable is a 2.5mm female.

Q: 5. Is this flicker free?

A: This should be flicker free.

Q: 6. Country of origin?

Q: 7. I know there is a cold shoe and a 1/4-20 thread, but what are people doing for mounting this to a cage so that it's really secure?

A: There is a loop on the back just behind the 1/4-20" by which a zip-tie can be used to secure onto a cage.

Q: 8. Suppose I recharge the NPF battery to wall power while using it to power my GH5. Where will my GH5 draw power, from the attached NPF battery or straight from wall power?

A: Passthrough power from the wall is not available sadly, and the battery will not power the GH5 if you have it connect to the main wall power, so I would recommend using either a D-Tap power source or using a dummy battery attached to a battery bank of sorts.

Q: 9. Will this fit on my boltzen 30w led?

A: No.

Q: 10. Is there anyone here using this to power their Ninja V?

A: This has a power sleeve connector. The Atomos battery eliminator provided with the Ninja uses a d-tap.

Definitely simplifies my battery solution. The stock gh5 batteries don't last as long. Blind spot with the sony NP batteries allow for an easy 4-6 hour life. I use it pretty much all the time when i'm doing long streaming. I've kept it on during the setup and through the live stream and there are no hiccups. Great product! Thank you!

Bought 2. One to power the Blackmagic Pocket4k, tilta Nucleus Nano, and my Nyrius Aries Pro transmitter . The other to power the nyrius receiver and lilliput A7S as a directors monitor.

Works great! Keeping it in my kit also means I have a spare NP-F charger on me. Being that’s it’s smaller that the battery it holds means it’s can be a bit tricky to lock them in properly but once it’s in it’s in for good.

Handy device to add Sony L batteries to power BMD 4K and 6K video cameras. You also need their LP-E6 dummy battery to complete the circuit. Has 1/4-20 mount so is very versatile.

I have had the little piece of gear for about 2 months now and I have used it on several projects. It is a very flexible power supply for your cameras and depending on how your camera rig is set up you will have the ability to power or charge up to 3 different things at the same time. I have used it with the Sony a6400 and the Sony a7iii and both cameras resulted in ALL DAY BATTERY LIFE while using the NP-F970 equivelant batteries (I used the DSTE NP-f970). I also have taken the time to test the power junkie for recording consecutive 4K clips (30min each) and the a7iii was able to record 8, 30 min 4K clips and the battery had 52% left!!! That's 4 HOURS of consecutive recording time on half of the battery! If you are a videographer that uses hybrid cameras as your primary cameras then this little addition IS A MUST. Not only is it a great power supply BUT it is ALSO a charging station for the NP-F batteries; an all-in-one piece of gear. Thank You Blind Spot Gear for a great product!

Does exactly what it's meant to do. Well built and very well thought out design. Probably not it's intended purpose, but I wound up using it to power my phone with an 970 battery. Got nearly 2 days out of it.
