The light beige B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Detachable cH-Style 4-Pin Connector for Audio Technica Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a cH-style 4-pin connector for direct connection to Audio Technica ATW-3201 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this have one or two XLR output connectors?

A: Twoone for each channel

Q: 2. So what you're saying is the receiver has an internal battery that will need to be recharged? So it's useless until charged? Is the Li-ion battery replaceable on the receiver? Please say it is.

A: This transmitter runs on 2x 1.5 V AA (not included). Standard alkaline or rechargeable AA cells may be used. The receiver portion includes a 3.7V rechargeable Li-ion battery that must be charged prior to use. it is not user replaceable.

Q: 3. Can I use the AT 803 mic with this unit?

A: The Audio-Technica At 803 lavalier microphone will not connect to this wireless system. I would recommend the Audio-Technica AT899CW - Sub-Miniature Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, BH #AUAT899CW, which is a high quality miniature condenser clip-on microphone that has the appropriate locking 4-pin connector.

Q: 4. 6 mics simultaneously in same studio. Manuel suggests that you can run up to 10 mics in same space. Reading that right?

A: That is correct, the Audio-Technica ATW-1311/L System 10 PRO Dual-Channel Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System (2.4 GHz) can support up to 10 channels/mics in a close proximity.

Q: 5. Is the receiver compatible with System 10 Pro transmitters?

A: Sorry I dont know

Q: 6. Can a System 10 wirless transmitter be sent to two separate receivers?

A: Because of its 2.4GHz communication protocol, the Audio-Technica ATW-1311/L System 10 PRO Dual-Channel Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System is unable to tune multiple receivers to the same transmitter simultaneously.

Q: 7. My camera audio inputs are XLR. What adapter is recommended to go from 3.5 mini to XLR? Does anyone make a camera mount XLR system?

A: I use a mini plug to xlr adapator I bought through B&H . Not very expensive. However i must say I was not happy with the mic provided with the system. I had to buy another the expensive mini mic. (269 or so) I also don't like that one unit is powered by 2 aa bateries and the other is rechargeable. I like systems where both are AA battery. Sony or Sure systems are better.

Q: 8. Is there a way to replace the receiver battery? I own this nice wireless system for about two years now and it started to drain fast...

A: Please contact Audio-Technica at 330-686-2600 to see about changing the rechargeable batteries in your wireless system.

Q: 9. I already have a Rode PinMic that I use with a Zoom H1 for maximum discreetness when shooting weddings. Will the PinMic work with this system, or should I make sure to get the audio-technica lavalier?

A: the mic attaches by a unique to AT .. to my frustration my sony mics and sure mics will not work. Also odd with this system is the the the receiver uses 2 aa batteries (normal) the tranmitter pack must be recharged. (weird to me) I bought it for the neat antenna but I'd stick with Sony or Sure in the future. hope that helps. Pete

Q: 10. Could you tell me which lav mic cpmes with it? Thanks in advance.

A: This system ships with the MT830cW lavalier. See the following link for more information: a href= http://bhpho.to/1BdG8NF target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1BdG8NF/a
