The tan Countryman E6i Directional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 2.5mm locking Connector for Comtek Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 2.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Comtek M-216 and M-72 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Which pins are the tip, ring, and sleeve wired to, respectively?

A: Unfortunately Saramonic has not made a wiring diagram for the SR-UM10-C35XLR available.

Q: 2. How is it best to clean ear buds when there are multiple users? My church won't provide the ear pieces so I bring my own.

A: You can clean your earbuds with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap, like a drop of dish soap. A toothbrush can be used to gently remove any wax that may be built up. There are also cleaning products available like HygenX by HamiltonBuhl (B&H # HAX19HRSB), which is specifically for cleaning headphone and earbuds.

Q: 3. Does "set of four" mean that I'll get 4 male and 4 female?

A: This set gives you 4 male clips and 4 female receivers.

Q: 4. The picture shows two sets, but the ad copy states set of 4 . Which is correct. Are there 4 pieces (2 sets), or are there indeed twice what is pictured - 4 sets?

A: There are four pieces, two sets.

Q: 5. Is this compatible with Decimator MD-HX?

A: No, the DECIMATOR MD-HX Miniature HDMI/SDI Cross Converter with Scaling & Frame Rate Conversion uses a 2.5mm barrel connector, while the DECIMATOR Power Pack 12 VDC with Locking Coax Connector for Select DECIMATOR Devices provides a 2.1mm barrel connector. The DECIMATOR Power Pack 12 VDC with Locking Collar for Select DECIMATOR Devices is an alternative power supply from Decimator to consider. See the link below: https://bhpho.to/3HdXQr1

Q: 6. Which size OP/TECH Mini QD Loops, 1.0mm or 1.5mm, is the best fit for the strap lugs on the Canon G7X Mark II?

A: I have used the the 1.0mm on my G9X MKII for a year, no problems. I think the 1.0mm is a good fit vs. the 1.5mm. I wondered about the weight capacity of the 1mm vs the 1.5mm so I contacted the company. They said the weight capacity is the same, that the breaking point is not the cord, and that the safety factor is a 2.5 lb capacity for both the 1 and 1.5mm.
