The white B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Very Low Sensitivity, with Detachable 6-Pin Hirose Connector for Samson Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is the least sensitive mic and a good choice for instrument applications, opera, or where the microphone will be positioned very near the mouth. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 6-pin Hirose connector for direct connection to Samson TX3, UT5, and UT6 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

A: yes. One word of warning. its a 10 mW transmitter Its on 2.4 GHz . Physics 101 its the microwave band. so its 100% line of sight. if you have *nothing* between the RX and TX its a very good mic . the moment you put body mass between it the thing is useless . lav belt packs are made for the back on your belt ect. It was unusable facing the cam 20 feet away! . the hand mic as its in front might be OK. Still the fact it was blocked was a deal breaker. had I known it was a wimnpy 10 mW of RF then I would have never bought it . I ended up buying a VHF pro-88 It does get a tad fuzzy at 100 Feet away but with in 30 feet its super solid. 150 mW RF and as its analog its nor a sudden drop off .

I use this microphone to record pieces I send to my guitar instructor. The mic on the computer distorts sound terribly, but the Samson mic provies clear, bright sound in conjuction with Audacity. 5

It's amazing how USB audio technology has improved, and the Go Mic is a perfect example. I'm not about to use it to record sound for a major motion picture, but it's fabulous when, during a road trip, someone desperately needs me to record a voiceover for a spot or a demo or an online presentation. 5

I was looking for an inexpensive mic to use for making podcasts. For less then $50, this little beauty really delivers. I use an iMac that is a few years old, and the mic inside of that just didn't cut it (especially when the cooling fan would rev up and create a good deal of background noise). This Samson mic has been perfect for creating high-quality voice podcasts that I create for my students. 5

Have its big brother, the Samson G-track at home and it's serves me well, but was looking for a smaller travel-mic that isn't aweful for creating tutorials and talking to clients via skype etc. This does the job beautifully. It's really quite small, but the metal clip makes it heavier than I thought it'd be. That being said, at least it doesn't feel like it's cheaply made, though I do worry it may scratch the finish when clipped to my Macbook Air. But skype calls have been ultra-clear compared with the built-in iMac 27 or MBA mics and I've moved to making more and more business calls over Skype since I can easily record conversations and be hands-free with great audio quality. Great value, results and super-easy to setup and use. Love love love .... 5

I've been recording covers for quite a few years now and I've tried many products, but this guy really surprised me in many ways. The Samson Go Mic came around a week ago, and first of all, this thing is small, very small. It's very easy to set up, just plug and go, worked on pretty much all platform. The mic has a built in clip that can clip on to your mic stand, and it clips on pretty much anything...The recording is very clear, just the way that you would want your recording to sound. There is a direct output from the mic itself with absolutely no delay, so you get to listen to how yourself sound like first handed. But the recorded result does not sound like what comes out from that output. An other thing is, the mic cannot handle sound that is too loud, if you want to record heavy metal, this is not the mic for you. Overall, this mic is absolutely great, especially for its low price. I know many people prefer the Snowball mic over the Go mic when it comes to USB recording, but the Go mic is much more easy to bring around to places and I personally prefer the Go mic's result than the Snowball USB mic. 5
