A: I do not know. But, be advised: I purchased the fluid mount about a year ago but have not used it for two reasons. B&H does not sell a suitable fluid (that I could find), and the instructions that came with the fluid mount don't really have any recommendations either.

A: No, the Neumann KK 105 capsule is not compatible for use with the SKM 100 G4-S transmitter. It will not fit. The KK 105 is only compatible for use with Sennheiser's SKM 5200 and SKM 5000 transmitters. The SKM 100 G4-S will work with Sennheiser's MMD 835-1, MMD 845-1, MME 865-1, MMD 935-1, MMD 945-1, MMK 965-1, and MMD 42-1 capsules.

A: Marc, I don't think you would use it dry. It is only a single piece of glass. The bottom tray with the grid is only for alignment. You need to use a scanning overlay to hold the film flat which it probably won't do if it's dry. And you would get Newton rings anyway. To hold the film flat you need to use fluid scanning. There isn't any calibration for height as there is with the regular film holders because the assembly is very precise on the scanner glass. It works well. It only takes a few drops of fluid and a small bottle goes a very long way. The fluid is easy to clean off. But the whole process is obviously more work than dry scanning. BTW, Epson does not make the fluid, the overlays or any of the other accessories. I used Scan Science materials. They have a great website with lots of information about fluid scanning and fluid scanning is all they do. You have to call them to place an order, but they are very helpful answering questions.I am very satisfied with the Epson fluid scanning. I have been able to scan up to 6400 dpi with great results. A: You should look on your lens for the phi symbol (looks like a small letter 'o' with a line drawn through it diagonally. This should be followed by a number...that's the size cap you need.
