The tan Countryman E6i Directional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 6-pin Hirose Connector for Samson Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 6-pin Hirose connector for direct connection to Samson BT3, CT2, TX4, and UT4 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the transmitter work OK when covered by a dress suit coat, or does it have to be unexposed?

A: We have found that most of the time the transmitter has to be exposed in order to properly work. Depending on how far away you are and also how thick the cloth is.

Q: 2. Has anyone used this amp for busking ? Does it crack or buzz at high level ? Im singing while playing the guitar with percussion looping ...

A: have NO idea what busking is.

Q: 3. can it be used with a stand?

A: Yes. You may use the Samson LS40 Lightweight Speaker Stands (B&H#SALS40 ) designed for Samson Expedition Portable PAs.

Q: 4. Can a bluetooth device beyond the headset connect to the speaker? For example, could it be connected to a bluetooth headphone set so that a student who is hard of hearing could have the sound directly into their ear while it was also broadcast over the speakers?

A: The Samson Expedition XP106wDE can play audio from Bluetooth devices, but it cannot send audio over Bluetooth to devices such as headphones. The included wireless microphone does not use Bluetooth, but rather a 2.4 GHz digital wireless connection similar to WiFi.

Q: 5. can a wireless transmitter be hooked to a receiver 's speaker her. ?

A: I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. The thing that looks like a USB stick in the product photo IS a wireless transmitter. The transmitter plugs into the back of the speaker and relays input from the mic to the speaker.

Q: 6. Can the Samson Expedition use on 220-240V power supply to charge?

A: Yes. In New Zealand we have a 230v AC power grid and i have no trouble charging the speaker. The charger that comes with the Samson Expedition XP106W is rated for use on 100-240v 50/60Hz.

Q: 7. Is it possible to purchase a lavalier mic to work with this system?

A: The Samson LM5 Lavalier is a perfect addition to the Portable PA Kit with Wireless Headset and Handheld Microphone.

Q: 8. Can the ststem and lavalier be used to play mysic downloaded on Apple iphone?

A: The Samson Expedition XP106w portable PA system supports streaming audio from an Apple iPhone via bluetooth.

Q: 9. I am planning on buying 2 of these systems, is there a chance of cross-talk between them with having fixed frequencies?

A: This system can operate up to two wireless systems simultaneously in the same area. Since this kit already includes two wireless systems (A handheld and a lavalier), adding a third wireless, will NOT be possible.

Q: 10. Do you wear the microphone on your head of around your neck?

A: The mic included in this kit is a Samson DE5 dual-ear headset, made to wear around the head. The two loops will support the headset on the user's ears.

Especially for the price, this is a great little USB mic! We've used it for backup audio recording a large conference room of people, for podcast recording, and for Skype - type communications and it really shines. Easy to take with you and mounts conveniently on the top of a laptop screen. A great little performer!

I use this mic as an alternative to the mic on my webcam to record church services. I cannot believe the sound. It truly sounds as good as it looks. Easy to hook up, easy to run and great sound. I thought I was going to have to spend a little money for like a blue yeti or something to get good quality audio but I found this samson go mic and it is as good as yeti or better and a quarter of the price. Only problem is coming up with the little filter that goes in front of the mic. If you are looking for a good sounding mic this is it.

This mic is amazing for its low price. This mic definitely has much better sound quality than my built-in mic on my Macbook Pro. No installation is needed either, just plug it in, change your audio input settings, and you are good to go. I use it for recording vocals and for webcamming (since my friends complain that they can't really hear me too well when I use the built-in mic). Purchase a pop-up filter or a windscreen if you are using it for vocals cause this mic does pick up the popping sound you make when you say P. Overall, this mic was a great purchase at a great price.

We are a Regional Television Network. In our changing news environment we were looking for a simple way to get news and information to air. We were Face Timing news reports the video was fine but the audio was awful. We called B&H told them what we needed they suggested the Go Mic . The mic works great in our report Kiosks it picks up well . We edit on Final Cut Pro X .We add a touch of Bass and its perfect. It has two settings very directional and a setting for group recording. For the money you will not beat this Microphone. The computer found it with out a hitch . It is small enough and stays out of your way. Experiment with it some ,you will be very happy. We bought two... Hayward Fowler CEO Fun Channel America

Wonderfu, easy to use accessory to my laptop. Sound is very clear. However, would be better if it had a lapel clip.

This unit is rather small, but not tiny. It comes supplied with a USB cable of decent length. Of course, sound quality is priority #1, and this shines very brightly. From a room inside a house, it picks up everything inside that room and even outside. It works much better than a headset with a microphone 2 away from the speaker's mouth. Sound quality is great - doesn't clip the lows or highs of voices, but doesn't introduce the Pop and S's normal to micrphones. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to my closest friends.

I use this as a desktop mic for narrating screencasts. It also works well with Windows 7 speech recognition for dictation and PC control. The Go Mic records clear, strong audio signal. It has some capability to serve as a playback speaker, which is a feature I don't use. When first plugged in, the driver set the Go Mic as my default playback speaker, which silenced my normal PC speakers. It was confusing at first, but easy to correct in Windows through the Sound control panel.

We have an iMac that received a new SSD. The problem is that the SSD is slightly larger than the old hard drive, and the microphone hole is a little obscured. This external mic solved the problem

Great for voice and acoustic guitar. Nice, heavyish clip to hold it in place. Immediately recognized by the OS. Mic has nice features, allowing you to adjust 360 or 180 pickup patterns. Integrated pivot allows you to angle however you need.
