The light beige B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Hardwired 3.5mm Locking Connector for Sennheiser Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.
This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Sennheiser SK 2020-D wireless bodypack transmitters.
Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.
The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.
The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.
Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.
Low, head miking for theater.

Q: 1. What rechargeable battery pack does this take?
A: The transmitter uses the Sennheiser BA2015G2 battery pack and L2015G2 charging station. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/324393-REG/Sennheiser_BA2015G2_BA_2015G2_Rechargeable_Battery.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1367658-REG/sennheiser_k2015_charging_station_with.html
Q: 2. Can I use a dongle and use with my Iphone 12?
A: Yes, you can connect the Sennheiser XSW-D Portable Lavalier Set Digital Camera-Mount Wireless Microphone System to the iPhone 12. There are a few options for connection using adapters or a dedicated Lightning cable. You can use a cable like the Sennheiser CL 35 TRRS Locking 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRRS Coiled Cable (B&H # SECL35TRRS) combined with the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (B&H # APLAADAP) or as a single-cable option, you can use the Comica Audio Locking 3.5mm TRS Male to Lightning Adapter Cable for Wireless Receiver to iPhone (B&H # COCVMDLSPXMI), or the Saramonic LC-C35 Locking 3.5mm Connector to Apple-Certified Lightning Output Cable (B&H # SALCC35).
Q: 3. Is the xlr out line level?
A: The XLR out is a balanced MIC level output, while the 1/4-inch out is an unbalanced LINE level signal.
Q: 4. The default sensitivity is -30. Is it recommended to put it higher to -15 or is -30 good? I am recording educational lectures in a studio space.
A: I would recommend doing a test recording with the mic starting off with the default sensitivity setting. Experiment with the settings as well as the positioning of the mic to find the combination that works best for you. When you do the test recordings, you can say which setting you are using for the sensitivity level and where the mic is placed. Just speak and record, and that way you can easily listen back and compare the audio clips without having to remember how everything was set up.
Q: 5. Where is this made? Asia or Germany?
A: Made in Romania
Q: 6. Can you use this receiver with multiple wireless microphones at the same time with each independent frequency? Like using a lavalier and a wireless microphone at the same time.
A: No. This receiver is a single channel so therefore only allows reception of one transmitter at a time.
Q: 7. Will this work with the Fuji X-H1 camera?
A: It will, however, the camera has a 2.5mm sub-mini mic input, which is not usual, so you will need to use a different output cable than is supplied with the kit: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/851851-REG/Beachtek_SC25_SC25_3_5mm_to_2_5mm.html
Q: 8. I got the dual person. It came with two XS Wireless packs. They both had the same frequency. How to chance one to a different frequency?
A: Changing frequency on the Sennheiser XSW 1 DUAL 2-Person Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System Kit can be initiated on the EM-XSW 1 Dual-Channel Stationary Receiver. First, press the Up/Down button on the specific receiver module you would like to change and select "Scan". Press the "Set" button next to activate this function, where the receiver will select an open channel. Next, power on your correlating transmitter and press the "Sync" button until the receiver's display flashes "SYNC". Finally, press the "Sync" button on the receiver to transfer the selected frequency to the transmitter. This process is described in further detail on page 11 of the system manual linked here: https://bhpho.to/3qHYANh
Q: 9. which frequency set is better? and what are the applications of each: A, A1, G?
A: In general, all of the frequency ranges offered for the Sennheiser EW 100 G4-ME2 Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System can be considered equal. One becomes better than the others when assessing factors such as location and other wireless systems existing and operating in the same environment. For instance, some cities have more open channels on a specific range than others. If this system is being integrated into a scenario with other wireless microphones, the existing frequency ranges of those microphones should also be taken into consideration when choosing a frequency for the Sennheiser. This system has 1,680 potential frequencies on each range and the ability to scan for the cleanest channel based on location, so it is hard to go wrong with any range.
