The light beige B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Hardwired 4-Pin Hirose Connector for Azden Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 4-pin Hirose connector for direct connection to Azden UHF 41BT wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How well does this system work with Canon 5D ?

A: This is considered an entry-level, basic wireless microphone system, and should work fairly well depending upon the distance and operating environment. Depending upon your particular project or application you may very happy with its performance for the price/value paid.

Q: 2. How long is the mic cable? Looks pretty short in the photo.

A: Hello. The lapel mic cable is 4 feet in length, while the output cable is roughly 2 feet in length.

Q: 3. i need two microphones with one receiver one camera does this work or what can i do?

A: The PRO-XR is a single channel system so unfortunately you will not be able to use two transmitters simultaneously with one receiver. You can use two full systems simultaneously without an issue, so if you want to find a mixer solution for your camera that would be one option.

Q: 4. Could I purchase a second WR-PRO receiver and transmit to 2 separate devices (iPad & laptop) at the same time with one transmitter?

A: Hello. Yes, you can send signal from one transmitter to multiple receivers with the Azden PRO Series. But, if you are planning to transmit to both an iPad and a laptop, odds are you'll need a 2nd TRRS adapter cable from Azden, as well. That cable can be purchased separately and is the HX-Mi cable. Most laptops require this type of connection now

Q: 5. How well does this system work with GoPro?

A: Hello Jonathan. Thank you for your inquiry in regards to the WLX-PRO+i VHF Wireless Lavalier Microphone System. This system is best suited for use with DSLR and mirrorless cameras, as well as mobile devices (using the included TRRS adapter cable). For GoPro filming, you wouldn't need the +i version of this kit, but merely just the regular WLX-PRO. If you still want the flexibility to record video with a mobile device in the future, you can purchase this kit and just omit the adapter cable when filming with GoPro. However, we do recommend our PRO-XD 2.4GHz Digital Wireless Microphone System when choosing to shoot with a GoPro, as that system has a more compact form factor and adjustable gain from the receiver going into your camera. We hope this information helps in your decision and thank you for choosing Azden!

Q: 6. Can the microphone system be used with a Panasonic model HC-V180 camera?

A: If the camera has the standard 3.5mm audio input jack, then yes.

Q: 7. Can the receiving transmitter be mounted onto a DSLR shoe mount? How (do I need an adapter)?

A: The receiver has a clip-on adapter that mounts on the shoe.

Q: 8. Can this kit be used on Samsung Galaxy 3?

A: I used it on a Galaxy S5 and it worked great. Not sure, but it would probably work with an S3 as well.

Q: 9. What other brand of lapel mics can be used instead of the supplied lapel?

A: Hello Jonathan. Thank you for your inquiry in regards to the WLX-PRO+i wireless microphone system. To answer your question, any lapel mic that has a MONO 3.5mm plug that takes power from the transmitter will work.

Q: 10. Will the receiver take a signal from two transmitters at the same time?

A: The Azden WLX-Pro receiver is only capable of communicating with a single transmitter simultaneously.
