The tan B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Hardwired LEMO 4-Pin Connector for Beyerdynamic Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.
This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a LEMO 4-pin connector for direct connection to Beyerdynamic TS-170, TS-170p, VHF TS-190, and TSP wireless bodypack transmitters.
Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.
The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.
The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.
Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.
Low, head miking for theater.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Curious if people are actually using the included lav mics? My initials tests were quite disappointing compared with a better mic, but maybe others have better experience? It seems they need a lot of gain to get any audible signal at all.
A: You can upgrade the mics to higher quality mics if you choose. Look for locking 1/8" mics that are wired for Sennheiser. That said to upgrade to a mic that is a significant upgrade you are looking at mics that are over $200-350 each, two of those is the same price or more than this entire system.
Q: 2. Can you tell me which is the transmitters version that you sell on B&H?
A: These are the USA legal versions.
Q: 3. Does the receiver needs to be plugged in with both XLR to the camera or you can simply use one if you are using only one transmitter ? I'm shooting with an FS7 and I would love to be able to leave my shotgun mic plugged in when only interviewing 1 person.
A: You will need to plug the 2 XLR connectors to the camera.
Q: 4. Does anyone know what the transmitter mic wiring is? I tried using an ECM77 from my Sony wireless pack and it didn't work - so I'm assuming it's not the same. Has anyone tried a mic wired for Sennheiser? It's a great product but the included mics are huge! I ailed Saramonic but they said I'd have to try it myself to see if it would work.
A: The Rode Lav with the Micon connection works great with these for anyone looking. Price is good and they sound fantastic.
Q: 5. Looking to film my kid playing sports mic'd up. I am a photographer and I noticed my son talking a lot and I thought it would be fun/funny to get the audio as he never admits to actually talking. I would like to use my Samsung S7 (Phone) as my camera has I have a gimbal for it, but I do have a few other cameras like the Canon 5D4, 6d, 7DII, and 60D.....what is best recommended to get the results I think I'm looking for?
A: This would work for you if you have a place on the gimbal to mount the receiver. You will also need a cable to interface with your phone. The Saramonic SR-PMC1 for TRRS headphone port will work great with that phone.
Q: 6. Hi, there. I wanted to use this mic kit as comms are they stereo out?
A: The output would a dual mono.
Q: 7. can you lock out the mute function on the transmitters?
A: Yes, you can lock the transmitter so the device can not be turned off or muted.
Q: 8. Can this receiver transmit sound via the Sony Multi-interface shoe - by chance? Guessing not, but worth a try!
A: So I just bought this set, I use the Sony A7Riii. I just bought the K2M XLR adapter and I plug in the receiver into that. When I do that, it works just fine. Great buy!
Q: 9. Are there replacement lav mics available?
A: Yes
Q: 10. Does the receiver keep both lav mics on separate channels (so that one can easily pull and edit one mic audio on its own channel) or does it mix them up together?
A: The output mode of this wireless system can be selected to mono or stereo. When the output mode is mono, the audio from left and right channel will be mixed. When it is stereo, the left and right audio channel output will be separated. The system default is mono.
