The tan B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Detachable LEMO 4-Pin Connector for Beyerdynamic Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a LEMO 4-pin connector for direct connection to Beyerdynamic TS-170, TS-170p, VHF TS-190, and TSP wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you tell me which is the transmitters version that you sell on B&H?

A: These are the USA legal versions.

Q: 2. I have the Sony FD AX100 camcorder and am looking to run 2 wireless lapel microphones. I have just one input jack. Will this system allow me to do this?

A: Works great!

Q: 3. Dose the Sanken Cos-11D lav work with the Saraminic UWMIC9 TX9 transmitter ?

A: Yes, you can use a Sanken COS-11D lavalier with the Saramonic UWMIC9 TX9 transmitter, but only if it has a 3.5mm locking connector and a compatible internal wiring configuration. B&H item # SAC11WNSOTRB is a COS-11D with a 3.5mm locking connector that is wired for use with Sony UWP transmitters, and it will also work with a Saramonic UWMIC9 TX9 because the internal wiring configuration and the connector are the same for both Saramonic and Sony.

Q: 4. Can the Saramonic UwMic9 work with the Sony Fx6?

A: Yes, you definitely can use the Saramonic UwMic9 Wireless Lavalier Microphone System with the Sony FX6 camera.

Q: 5. So if I plug this receiver into a zoom f8 will it come up as a stereo track with the left and right mixed or independent? And if i activated the stereo link function on my zoom f8 would one mic then be on channel 1 and one on channel 2 (for example) on my zoom f8?

A: There are two options on the receiver. Either set the output signal to stereo or mono. If you have two mics coming it it will put them out as separated LR. If youre only using one transmitter than you might want it set to mono mix, but dont mess that up!

Q: 6. Do these work with XLR inputs on the Sony HXR-NX100?

A: Yes

Q: 7. Does the receiver needs to be plugged in with both XLR to the camera or you can simply use one if you are using only one transmitter ? I'm shooting with an FS7 and I would love to be able to leave my shotgun mic plugged in when only interviewing 1 person.

A: You will need to plug the 2 XLR connectors to the camera.

Q: 8. Is the receiver compatible with the Sony UWP-D21 transmitter?

A: No, Saramonic UwMic9 wireless components are not compatible for use with Sony UWP wireless components. The Saramonic RX9 receiver can only be used with other Saramonc UwMic9 transmitters such as the TX9 bodypack transmitter that is included with the receiver, the UH9 handheld transmitter (B&H # SAHU9), and the TX-XLR9 plug-on transmitter (B&H # SATXXLR9). Likewise, Sony UWP wireless components can only be used with other compatible Sony wireless components.

Q: 9. Curious if people are actually using the included lav mics? My initials tests were quite disappointing compared with a better mic, but maybe others have better experience? It seems they need a lot of gain to get any audible signal at all.

A: You can upgrade the mics to higher quality mics if you choose. Look for locking 1/8" mics that are wired for Sennheiser. That said to upgrade to a mic that is a significant upgrade you are looking at mics that are over $200-350 each, two of those is the same price or more than this entire system.

Q: 10. Just curious...will a Saramonic wireless transmitter (freq 530MHz for example) work with a Sennheiser receiver set to same freq.?

A: No, you typically can not mix different brands of wireless transmitters and receivers, so you would not be able to combine a Saramonic transmitter with a Sennheiser receiver, even if both are set to the same frequency.
