The tan B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Detachable 4-Pin Female Proprietary Connector for Fender Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.
This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 4-pin female proprietary connector for direct connection to Fender Passport wireless bodypack transmitters.
Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.
The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.
The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.
Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.
Low, head miking for theater.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. I don't see how to lock the tilt in the pictures. Is there a way to do this? Do you need a tool or by hand?
A: Yes. Tilt is all based on tension control which is adjusted by two Allen key screws at the bottom of the next of the tilt.
Q: 2. How long is mic to transmitter cable?
A: This lavalier microphone that connects to the transmitter is 4ft long.
Q: 3. Is the receiver compatible with the Sony UWP-D21 transmitter?
A: No, Saramonic UwMic9 wireless components are not compatible for use with Sony UWP wireless components. The Saramonic RX9 receiver can only be used with other Saramonc UwMic9 transmitters such as the TX9 bodypack transmitter that is included with the receiver, the UH9 handheld transmitter (B&H # SAHU9), and the TX-XLR9 plug-on transmitter (B&H # SATXXLR9). Likewise, Sony UWP wireless components can only be used with other compatible Sony wireless components.
Q: 4. So if I plug this receiver into a zoom f8 will it come up as a stereo track with the left and right mixed or independent? And if i activated the stereo link function on my zoom f8 would one mic then be on channel 1 and one on channel 2 (for example) on my zoom f8?
A: There are two options on the receiver. Either set the output signal to stereo or mono. If you have two mics coming it it will put them out as separated LR. If youre only using one transmitter than you might want it set to mono mix, but dont mess that up!
Q: 5. anyone had any radio interference static, hisses or clicks picked up from the transmission especially when walking about in differenet environments of is the audio always generally 'clean' and free of intereference? Thank you
A: Have you changed the channels? Do a frequency scan when this happens and it will find the cleanest available channel. Then sync the transmitters to the receiver. You will need to do this for both A & B frequencies on your receiver. This should fix your problem.
Q: 6. Hi, there. I wanted to use this mic kit as comms are they stereo out?
A: The output would a dual mono.
Q: 7. Curious if people are actually using the included lav mics? My initials tests were quite disappointing compared with a better mic, but maybe others have better experience? It seems they need a lot of gain to get any audible signal at all.
A: You can upgrade the mics to higher quality mics if you choose. Look for locking 1/8" mics that are wired for Sennheiser. That said to upgrade to a mic that is a significant upgrade you are looking at mics that are over $200-350 each, two of those is the same price or more than this entire system.
Q: 8. can you include free waterproof case with two lav mics?
A: The case is not included, but for an additional price I would recommend the SKB iSeries Waterproof Case for Sony UWP-D Two-Channel Wireless Bodypack Mic System (Holds: URX-P03D & Two UTX-B03), BH #SK3I09074BH3.
Q: 9. Does anyone know what the transmitter mic wiring is? I tried using an ECM77 from my Sony wireless pack and it didn't work - so I'm assuming it's not the same. Has anyone tried a mic wired for Sennheiser? It's a great product but the included mics are huge! I ailed Saramonic but they said I'd have to try it myself to see if it would work.
A: The Rode Lav with the Micon connection works great with these for anyone looking. Price is good and they sound fantastic.
Q: 10. Looking to film my kid playing sports mic'd up. I am a photographer and I noticed my son talking a lot and I thought it would be fun/funny to get the audio as he never admits to actually talking. I would like to use my Samsung S7 (Phone) as my camera has I have a gimbal for it, but I do have a few other cameras like the Canon 5D4, 6d, 7DII, and 60D.....what is best recommended to get the results I think I'm looking for?
A: This would work for you if you have a place on the gimbal to mount the receiver. You will also need a cable to interface with your phone. The Saramonic SR-PMC1 for TRRS headphone port will work great with that phone.
