The tan B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Low Sensitivity, with Detachable TA4F Connector for Vega Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is ideal for use as a head mic in theater. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to Vega BP2020, PRO-2, ST2020, T23, T25, T37, and T93 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Low, head miking for theater.

Q: 1. ABOUT SARAMONIC UWMIC9:I'm wondering if the combo made of one transmitter and one receiver can accommodate adding a second transmitter, purchased separately?Looking for a smart purchase but can't afford the (x1) RX and (x2) TX package at the moment.

A: Yes. You can buy a kit of 1 tx and 1 rx now and later on purchase a single tx.

Q: 2. I have the Sony FD AX100 camcorder and am looking to run 2 wireless lapel microphones. I have just one input jack. Will this system allow me to do this?

A: Works great!

Q: 3. What microphone is the equivalent for this set? I have two mics from this kit that I need to replace.

A: The Saramonic SR-UM10-M1 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Locking 3.5mm Plug (B&H # SASRUM10M1) is a replacement for the original microphone that is included with the Saramonic UwMic9 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System. You can also use the Rode RODELink Lav Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone for RODELink Systems (B&H # ROLINKLAV), the Senal OLM-2 Lavalier Microphone with 3.5mm Locking Connector for Sennheiser EW & Senal AWS-2000 Series (B&H # SEOLM2), or the Sennheiser ME 2-II Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Locking 3.5mm Connector (B&H # SEME2II). Any of the lavalier microphones with a locking 3.5mm TRS male connector that are wired for compatibility with Sennheiser transmitters can also be used with the Saramonic TX9 Digital UHF Wireless Bodypack Transmitter.

Q: 4. can you include free waterproof case with two lav mics?

A: The case is not included, but for an additional price I would recommend the SKB iSeries Waterproof Case for Sony UWP-D Two-Channel Wireless Bodypack Mic System (Holds: URX-P03D & Two UTX-B03), BH #SK3I09074BH3.

Q: 5. Can I run a total of 4 transmitters with 2 receivers into a camcorder that has 2 mic inputs, since the receivers are designed to work with 2 transmitters each?

A: Yes, you can use two Saramonic UwMic9 dual-mic wireless systems at the same time with your camcorder by connecting the output of each dual-channel receiver to a separate mic input on the camera. This will allow you to use four transmitters simultaneously.

Q: 6. Curious if people are actually using the included lav mics? My initials tests were quite disappointing compared with a better mic, but maybe others have better experience? It seems they need a lot of gain to get any audible signal at all.

A: You can upgrade the mics to higher quality mics if you choose. Look for locking 1/8" mics that are wired for Sennheiser. That said to upgrade to a mic that is a significant upgrade you are looking at mics that are over $200-350 each, two of those is the same price or more than this entire system.

Q: 7. Hi, there. I wanted to use this mic kit as comms are they stereo out?

A: The output would a dual mono.

Q: 8. Just curious...will a Saramonic wireless transmitter (freq 530MHz for example) work with a Sennheiser receiver set to same freq.?

A: No, you typically can not mix different brands of wireless transmitters and receivers, so you would not be able to combine a Saramonic transmitter with a Sennheiser receiver, even if both are set to the same frequency.

Q: 9. anyone had any radio interference static, hisses or clicks picked up from the transmission especially when walking about in differenet environments of is the audio always generally 'clean' and free of intereference? Thank you

A: Have you changed the channels? Do a frequency scan when this happens and it will find the cleanest available channel. Then sync the transmitters to the receiver. You will need to do this for both A & B frequencies on your receiver. This should fix your problem.

Q: 10. How do you attach the mic transmitter to your body? Is there a belt clip?

A: Yes, the receivers come with a belt clip. If the subject is not wearing a belt, or if there are costumes involved, there is also a variety of belts available: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?ci=9758&fct=fct_case-type_1494%7ctransmitter-belts&N=4291074638

I have a small YouTube channel concentrated on motorcycles and exercise. I have used remote mic(s) in the past to record sound on a separate file with these devices. The limitations for me are post production editing complications and limitations on movement along with flexibility.
The new Rode Wireless Go II solves most of these issues. I can now do interviews with two people. Record to a single file using the transmitter to receiver set up, and move around freely while VLOGGING. Plus when the receiver is input directly to my GoPro or Sony ZV-1 (also purchased from B&H) Camera I have a single file that contains visual plus audio information. Making post production editing easier.
The range distance on these is remarkable. Plus I tried a walk around my house while recording in the garage and the sound was transmitted through walls and doors with no drop out or sound artifacts....most impressive.
Highly recommended.

It’s amazing how much has been added/improved from the original. The mics sound great with and without a lavaliere. The dead-cats secure nicely now. Summed mono and stereo pair is a great addition. The range is insane, even with other 2.4Ghz networks around and even if there was an issue there’s onboard recording storage too. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and absolutely love it!

Normally I don't like wireless audio, but I heard these little beauties were pretty good, so I picked them up, and wow, I am blown away at how well they work!

I totally love this product as it perfectly fits in my pro traveler's bag.
As a filmmaker and communication teacher, I can as much use it for interviews, filming, recording, as for online training/classes or streaming. the sound quality is top-notch, the recording within the devices is a big plus as backup or even as a standalone solution. mind-blowing for the size and the price!

I'm a performer and content creator who has tried out various microphone set ups, including a variety of wireless ones. Out of all the ones I tried, I would use the Rode Go 1 most often. With the new release of the Rode 2 and the increased features it offers, it has quickly become my favorite. Setup is quick and easy for shows; and for when I'm filming videos the built-in recording feature guarantees I will have great audio. During my shows, having the second mic is also useful for when I bring up other performers and volunteers. At the price point and features offered this is easily the best wireless mic on the market!

So far, my favorite piece of gear I've purchased this year. Lately, I use these primarily for live streaming my company's appearance at virtual events and tradeshows, and these have been a treat. Set to -30db and plugged into an ATEM Mini Pro, I haven't had any peaking issues, or buzzing that other solutions have presented, and the audio sounds great. Would it be great to have a proper line out? Yes. Can you manage without it? Absolutrly.

For a beginner in needing/wanting a wireless system to record audio, this is the cat's meow! Super easy to use, very versatile and reliable. I like the fact it comes with two (2) transmitters, but the kit is more expensive because of this than the original version which only had one (1) transmitter.

Quick to setup and start recording. Basically turn on the transmitter(s) and receiver, plug the receiver into your DSLR camera and you have a quality audio recording system now for your video. Super easy to use and low-profile. Good battery life and units are rechargeable via USB-C connection.

For an on-the-go, low-profile and quick audio recording system for your podcasts, 1 or 2-person interviews and better than basic on-camera audio for your videos, this is a GREAT system.
