The cocoa Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 1/4" Connector for Line 6 Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 1/4" connector for direct connection to Line 6 TBP06 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. is it compatible with Tascam DR-40?

A: Yes, this Sescom cable is compatible for use with the Tascam DR-40 recorder.

Q: 2. what is the width of the flexible cable (not the plug which is 3.5mm)?

A: I am not sure I completely understand your question. If you could rephrase that it would be extremely helpful. Specs for the EAC64CL - (Clear 3.5mm cable that is included) The cable it's self is 64 inch long. The part of the cable that loops around your ear is 3 inches long. The diameter is 1/8 of an inch wide.

Q: 3. how do the se535 compare to the se215 earphones?

A: To me the se535 is the best sounding earbud I have ever used. I listen to my music at no less than 44k and up to 192k. I get the fullness and quality of sound better than I ever have. Unfortunately everyone is different. Some people claim to not hear the difference between an MP3 and HD music. So if that's the case you probably wouldn't notice the difference in the earbuds either. For me though I highly recommend the se535. Good luck.

Q: 4. Will this work to connect my Canon t4i to my Zoom H1? Need to be sure.

A: Yes it will work and is a compatible compatible cable.

Q: 5. How are these compared to the SHURE SE846, the difference is too big?

A: I found the difference big, although not sure price difference is completely justified. But, 846's have more bass, can play much louder and still get full, clear sound. Having bought both ,(they fit my ears better than other brands) I would not go back to the 535's; the 846's are much more involving. Hope that helps.

Q: 6. As far as I can tell, there is no master volume for the headphone output. There are only individual controls for mic, instrument/line, and monitor/mix inputs. Is that correct?

A: That is correct - the ART MyMonitorII Personal Monitoring Solution Mic/Line Mixer does not have a single, dedicated master volume control for its headphone output. Instead, the MyMonitorII offers four dedicated level adjustments (Mic, Inst/Line, Stereo Monitor Left, Stereo Monitor Right) which allow the user to create a custom blend of the inputs used on the mixer and which all contribute to the headphone output level, which can achieve a maximum output of +12dBu.

Q: 7. will this be good for video recording, i.e. piano music?

A: The MX153 does feature 2 mic inputs however is designed primarily for permanent installation in paging applications.

Q: 8. This attenuator cable is -25 dB. Other cables are -35dB. What cable is more suitable for Tascam DR40, 40X ?

A: If using this to connect a DR40 into a camera, the -25db cable would be fine to ensure a strong enough level into the preamp of the camera while not overloading it.

Q: 9. With a requirement of 4 xlr-m and 4xlr-f, what breakout harness do you suggest for analog audio?

A: At this time, we don't carry the compatible breakout cable you'd need for four (4) XLR male and four (4) XLR female analog audio connections on the Digigram ALP442e-MIC Multichannel PCIe Sound Card with 4 Mic/Line Inputs. For your reference, the SKU/part # for the breakout cable is DIG-SC2422A0301.

Q: 10. Does this work with a Panasonic GH3?

A: The LN2MIC-ZMGH-MON from Sescom is compatible with the GH3 and most other DSLR cameras that feature a 3.5mm mic input jack.
