Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Standard Gain With Detachable 2mm Cable And 3.5mm Connector For Comtek Wireless Transmitters (black)

The black Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and 3.5mm Connector for Comtek Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.
The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.
The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm connector for direct connection to Comtek M-72 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.
The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.
The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.
The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)
Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. does it work with the rode wireless go?
A: Yes, this microphone works with the Wireless Go system.
Q: 2. How does this mic differ from the one that is included in the RodeLink Filmmaker kit? Is it better?
A: According to Rode, the only difference between the lavalier mic that is included in the RodeLink Filmmaker Kit and the separate RodeLink Lavalier mic is the locking collar. On the RodeLink Lavalier, the locking collar is removable so the mic can be used with devices that have either a locking or non-locking 3.5mm audio input. The locking collar on the mic included in the kit is not removable so the mic can only be used with devices that use a locking input. The mic capsule is identical on both mics.
Q: 3. Will the rode invisilav fit this mic?
A: The Polsen PL-5 will be on the small side and may be a bit loose since its diameter is .14 and the invisilav's diameter is .20 .
Q: 4. I'd like to know how long is the cable?
A: Cable measures 1 meter/39 inches not including connector.
Q: 5. Does anyone know if this would fit an Olympus WS-822 digital voice recorder? Thanks!
A: This mic is compatible with the Olympus recorder.
Q: 6. Does this work if it's plugged directly into the Atomos Ninja V?
A: No, the RODELink Lav uses a locking 3.5mm connector which attaches to a threaded 3.5mm input jack and the Atomos Ninja V has a standard (non-locking) 3.5mm mic input. Rode's Lavalier GO (B&H# ROLAVGO) is a similar mic with a non-locking 3.5mm connector that is compatible for use with the Ninja V. For additional options you may want to consider the Microphone Madness MM-ML (B&H# MIM) or MM-LAPEL-1 (B&H # MILAPEL1), Polsen PL-4 (B&H # POPL4) or PL-5 (B&H# POPL5) which are all omnidirectional lavalier mics that can be used with the Ninja V. .
Q: 7. Will this work with the Zoom H1n?
A: Yes
Q: 8. what is the difference between extended low end and standard EQ?
A: The Comtek PR-75P AutoSmart-Tuning Wireless Monitor Receiver with Extended Low End boosts the low-end frequency response of the device and is more ideal for film and TV applications where more precise monitoring is required. The "standard EQ" version of the Comtek PR-75a AutoSmart-Tuning Wireless Monitor Receiver enhances speech intelligibility and is designed for tour guide and assisted listening applications.
Q: 9. Is this mic or line level?
A: This cable is meant to be used with line level sources, for connecting sources into a Comtek M-216 transmitter.
Q: 10. Does this work with Rode Wireless Pro?
A: Yes, the RODE RODELink Lav Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone for RODELink Systems, is fully compatible with the RODE Wireless PRO 2-Person Clip-On Wireless Microphone System/Recorder with Lavaliers (2.4 GHz).
