The compact size and placement just in front of the ear make this microphone particularly well-suited for intimate theater and broadcast applications, or any use where low mic visibility is a key factor.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern provides a generous and forgiving pickup area around the perimeter of the capsule, while the stainless steel construction stands up to daily use, makeup, and sweat. The mic also comes with 3 different interchangeable caps that let you choose between a flat, bright, or very bright frequency response.

This version of the E6s is light beige and comes with a 2mm diameter Duramax cable. It terminates to a 1/8" (3.5mm) Locking Mini connector for use with AKG wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this compatible with Rode Wireless Go II or the DJI 2 person mic (BH #DJMIC)? The previous answers are confusing.

A: The Senal UEM-155-35H-BE will work with the Rode Wireless GO II, although it will not lock in place. The locking connector of the mic will not block its connection with the Rode transmitters, but it has been known to obstruct connection with the DJI Mic transmitters, so it would not be recommended for use with that system.

Q: 2. Do these work with Sennheiser belt packs?

A: No, the Pyle Pro PMHM2 Omnidirectional Headset Microphone has a non-locking 3.5mm connector for wireless transmitters like the RODE Wireless GO II or DJI Mic. As a compatible option for Sennheiser wireless transmitters, you can use the Polsen ESM-2-35H Dual-Sided Earset Microphone (B&H # POESM235H), which is close in price and has the locking 3.5mm TRS connector.

Q: 3. Does this mic require phantom power?

A: It is not a dynamic mic. It is an electret condensor needs a small voltage. When used with a wireless transmitter they provide the small electrical booster needed to power the mic. If you want to use it with a mixer that has xlr jacks you need to turn in phantom power and use an adapter such as the Ride VXLR Pro that can take in 48v phantom power from the mixer and deliver the smaller voltage needed by the mic.

Q: 4. is this compatible with Mipro Act-7ta?

A: Although we are unable to test to fully confirm, the Pyle Pro PMHMS20 Omnidirectional Headset Microphone for Shure Wireless Transmitters uses the appropriate TA4F connection for use with the MiPro ACT-7Ta Wideband UHF Bodypack Transmitter and has a good chance of compatibility with this wireless system.

Q: 5. Will this work with the pdwm8900?

A: The TA4F connector attached to the Pyle Pro PMHMS20 is not compatible with the beltpacks supplied with the PDWM8900 system which require a 3.5mm jack.

Q: 6. Is it compatible with other 3.5mm xmitters like the Sony UTX-B03?

A: No, this is not compatible with Sony systems.

Q: 7. is it work with my zoom f1?

A: Thank you for your question. This will work with the F1.

Q: 8. What bodypack systems is the 3.5 mm ts compatible with?

A: The Pyle Pro PMHM2 Omnidirectional Headset Microphone can be used with any wireless bodypack transmitter that has a standard non-locking 3.5mm mic input such as the RODE Wireless GO II Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder, the DJI Mic Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder, the Saramonic Blink 500 Digital Camera-Mount Wireless Microphone System, and the Synco WAir Ultracompact Digital Wireless Microphone System, to name just a few. The PMHM2 can also be used with other devices that have a 3.5mm mic input including audio recorders, tablets, and computers.

Q: 9. Hi, I m wondering if this mic compitible and can be used for Audio Technica Pro 10 wireless system? thanks

A: This microphone has a Shure TA4F connector which is very common and popular. AT body pack uses the HIROSE HR10A-7P-4S connector. So if you want to use this Pyle Pro mic with the AT 10 PRO bodypack you will need an adapter converter cable. The only company that I know that sells such a cable is in England called micronic. The adapter cable is expensive. Alternatively, I have been told AT will install the HIROSE connector to any microphone you send them for $30 per microphone. I think purchasing an adapter cable is the best solution. But I have not tried this idea and so I can not guarantee this will work. I hope this helps

Q: 10. It's unclear what transmitter units this mic can be used with: can it be plugged into both an XLR and a 1/8 jack?

A: The Countryman E6 or E6i comes with numerous connector's. So that you can just pick the connector that is right for the wireless you are using. It comes with a 3.5mm locking connector for Sennheiser EW system. A 4 pin Hirose for Audio-Technica. You will find that what ever system you are using Countryman makes the connector for your system. The Countryman Snap-on Microphone Cable is designed for use with the E6 and E6i ear set microphones. These replaceable cables are available in various connector types to accommodate various wireless microphone transmitters. If the cable breaks all you have to do is replace the cable. So whatever wireless you are using. All you have to do is find the E6 with the matching connector.

We have many different persons using our microphones and they take a beating. Used a countryman before great product but not so great product. I am no sound expert but these little mikes offer similar response and sound. Bought four and use them extensively

Okay, so I was worried because they were SO inexpensive. But, they work like a champ! I teach HS, my musical theatre class was in desperate need of new mics and these fit the bill. The wires are a little flimsy, but the sound is great. Just remind your kids to be gentle with them, and if they aren't, well it's not going to break the bank to replace them... right?

We needed a head-worn microphone for our church services but had a limited budget. I was hesitant about this microphone at first d to its really low cost in comparison to some other brands, but decided to try it anyway. Another selling point was the beige color that makes it less obtrusive. I wired a small adapter to change the connector pin out to match the EV body pack wireless transmitter we had. This microphone works great and we have been using it every week for over a year with no problems. We record the sermons live and the recorded and in-house live audio is remarkable, especially for a unit so competitively priced. The wiring isn't heavy duty, but I still give this microphone five stars based on the performance and value.
