The light beige Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 3.5mm Connector for Amplivox Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm connector for direct connection to Amplivox S-1600T and S-1690T wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. Lightweight, comfortable to the point of not knowing you are wearing them, great sound but still allows you to hear ambient noise. If you don't want to shut out the world around you or better yet, it you want to be aware of what is happening around you for safety reasons or not zoning out, these do the job very well. Three improvements could be made. First, noise cancellation is not available which I understand is not so much due to the design and engineering, but is a result of the way sound is transmitted from these earphones to your ear canal which does not allow for noise cancellation. Second, no volume control on the devices themselves, quite a short coming, but I can't imagine they would have left this feature off if it could have been engineered into the product. Third, an easy fix. I found if you brush your ear, say to swat an insect, you could accidentally also brush off the earphone and as with all miniature earphones like this, if you are standing in a bunch of plants or other stuff, it's hard to find. If you are skiing and this happens, good luck finding it in the snow or anywhere else if you are in motion and it pops off your ear. It would be easy to have an accessory detachable cable that ties the two earphones together so if one falls out, it does not fall to the ground. Even if they both fall out, it would be much easier to find with a connecting bright coloured cable. You could also buy a similar product at an eyewear store, but Shokz could probably design something that would look appropriate for the earphones. 5

These sound great. I am a truck driver and as many know we are required to use hands-free devices while driving. I read positive reviews on the open fit device and decided to give them a try. This things are so light and comfortable you can wear them all day without them hurting your ears like the blue parrot or blue tiger style headsets. Those headsets are great too but after a few hours they start hurting your ear. I'm very impressed with these. 5

Very comfortable and light. I don't even notice they are there. Even tested while running and they stay in place with no bouncing. My only wish is that volume control was on the earbud itself (vs needing phone to control). I didn't realize it wasn't before purchase and miss that feature as compared to the OpenRUN. Otherwise, I love them. 5
