The light beige Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and 3.5mm locking Connector for Azden Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.
The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.
The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Azden 15BT and 35BT wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.
The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.
The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.
The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)
Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. I have a Canon Vixia camcorder. How do I mount the receiver to it?
A: It should slide right onto the top of the camera. There is a spot where a Flash would be mounted. The receiver can be mounted there as well.
Q: 2. how do I mount a WR-Pro wireless receiver on a Sony HDR-CX430V video camera?
A: Unfortunately that camera has a hot shoe on it. So you have nothing on the camera to attach a cold shoe to. But you can circumvent this minor problem with a Vello CB-510 Dual Shoe Bracket. This bracket will screw into the bottom of the camera where you would normally attach the camera to a tripod. Instead you will screw the Vello bracket onto the camera. This device will now give you 2 cold shoe mounts that are part of the bracket and a rubber coated handle that you can now use to hold onto your camera. The Azden receiver should have a shoe that came with it that attaches to the back of the receiver. All you have to do is slide the shoe mount on the receiver onto one of the shoes on the Vello bracket. Then plug the output of the receiver 3.5mm plug into the camera. Here is the B&H part number for the Vello bracket. B&H# VECB510
Q: 3. Hello. Is it possible to connect a Rode Stero Video Mic (self powered) microphone to the auxiliary input of the transmitter to transmit stereo signal? Thankyou!
A: If the Rode is capable of outputting a line level signal then it will transmit. I'm not sure whether it would be in stereo however.
Q: 4. Would this work with the Canon Vixia HFG20?
A: I don't have that camera but if it has a standard mic input (according to the specs it does), then the Pro-XD system will work. I've been happy using the Pro-XD.
Q: 5. Do the Azden Pro XD mount on the camera, or you have to buy a mount?
A: They mount right onto my dslr camera
Q: 6. Will it work with Black Magic Pocket 4K?
A: Yes, the SMX-30 will work with the BMPCC 4K but must be plugged into the 3.5mm mic input jack (not the mini-XLR input). Furthermore, you will have to adjust the audio settings to use the 3.5mm mic input. The auto-on feature will work when set up properly. You will need to find a third party mounting solution since the BMPCC lacks a traditional cold-shoe mount. Using a camera cage with a shoe mount would be one option. The SMX-30 has a 1/4"-20 female thread at the bottom, so using a thread adapter would be a second option.
Q: 7. Can I use the transmitter with my shot gun microphone and the receiver giving me output in the Zoom H6.. so my idea is to have wireless boom for my productions. .
A: You can connect the receiver to the Zoom H6 for recording, with no problem. Using the shotgun microphone with the transmitter is a little trickier. If the microphone has a 3.5 mm mini plug connector, and is battery powered, then you can use it with the transmitter BUT, you'll need to convert the connecter to a 3.5 mm TRRS connector. You can use the included TRRS adapter (meant for use with mobile devices) for this purpose if you wish. If the shotgun mic has an XLR connector, I would not advise adapting that to connect to the transmitter, but it is possible. You'd have to use an XLR to male 3.5 mm TRS cable, and then plug that into the TRRS adapter before plugging into the transmitter. This could only conceivably work if the shotgun is battery powered. If it needs phantom power, it will not work. If your mic is XLR, you'd be better off using a system with an XLR plug-in transmitter such as our 310XT.
Q: 8. Does this have a 3.5 mm output? What would be the best adapter to go from that to XLR Male?
A: Mic Output: 1/8 (3.5 mm) dual-mono/stereoHeadphone Output: 1/8 (3.5 mm) stereo Adapter: Kopul XLR Male to Mini Female Adapter B&H # KOAXMMF
Q: 9. Does this work with television viewing?
A: The SHOKZ OpenFit Open-Ear True Wireless Earbuds (Black) BH # SHT910STBK will work with televisions offering Bluetooth pairing.
Q: 10. I plan to use it with Sony HDR CX900 handycam which has a hot shoe. Will I need a shoe extension? What is the range of the Pro-XD? Is there a better mic to purchased separately, seems the only criticism is of the mic.
A: I could never get my system to work at all. It's sitting on the shelf waiting to be returned
