The light beige Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and TA4F Connector for CAD Audio Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to CAD Audio WX155A wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Q: 2. We cannot get this to work on our Mac laptop. They can hear us but we can't hear them once it's plugged in...?

A: Eject the USB microphone from the computer desktop. Unplug it from the computer, Shut down the computer and then restart it after 30 seconds or so. Then plug the micrphone back in. If this does not provide remedy, please contact our Customer Service department: 800.221.5743 cs@bhphotovideo.com

Q: 3. Are the inputs (1/4" mode, each side) stereo or mono jacks?

A: The CAD CX2 Connect II 2x2 USB Audio Interface has two separate input channels which each have an XLR-1/4" TRS combo jack. This type of input connection can be used with XLR or 1/4" connectors. Each input is mono, but you can create stereo audio by connecting microphones, instruments, or line level devices to both inputs.

Q: 4. Does it work as speaker?

A: No. This microphone has no speaker capabilities.

Q: 5. Hi friends, before ordering the Transmisor GXLIEM4,I would like to know if I can connect it directly to notebook to transmit through zoom app 4 speakers, or is it necessary to pass through an audio table? BR, Abraham

A: You could come directly from a headphone into the transmitter with a 3.5mm to 1/4" cablle. You would need to send a mono signal out of the headphones. This unit however is made to transmit to headsets, not speakers.

Q: 6. What is the audio pickup range for this mic?

A: Hi Michaela, We don't have an exact number for that, but the sensitivity can be adjusted to pick up sources further away if needed.

Q: 7. What are the specs on the transmitter power supply?

A: Detailed information on the specs of the CAD GXLIEM4 Quad-Mix In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System's power supply has not been provided by the manufacturer.

Q: 8. Can you set two headsets to listen to the same channel?

A: Yes you can set two receivers to the same channel in the CAD GXLIEM4 system.

Q: 9. What type of mount adapter I need for the mic?

A: The EVO SR1 Condenser Microphone included with the Audient EVO Start Recording Bundle come with an EVO shockmount that will attach directly to a mic stand, as well as an XLR cable to connect the mic to the input on the EVO 4 USB Audio interface.

Q: 10. Will this work with a soundcraft ui16? We have 4 aux sends (xlr) and want to have 4 independent channels that can each have its own mix.

A: Yes, the CAD GXLIEM4 Quad-Mix In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System will work well in a scenario where four independent auxiliary mixes are needed for in-ear monitoring. The auxiliary outputs of the Soundcraft Ui16 16-Input Remote-Controlled Digital Mixer would pair directly with the four inputs on the CAD GXLIEM4.
