The black Countryman E6i Directional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and 4-pin female proprietary Connector for Fender Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 4-pin female proprietary connector for direct connection to Fender Passport wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this product work as a cheaper alternative to the TecNec VISCA Camera Control Cable?

A: No, the Hosa Technology DBK-103 9-Pin D-Sub Female to Mini-Din 8-Pin Male Host Cable (3 ft) cannot be used as an alternative to the TecNec VISCA Camera Control Cable.

Q: 2. How big is the slot for the base assembly? Will it work with other Booms?

A: This is designed to work specifically with Ultima Gen 2 Mic Arms. It may fit others but makes no claim.

Q: 3. Will this work with the Canon R-5?

A: No, the Rollocam Camera Trigger Cable with 2.5mm Male to 3-Pin Female for Canon EOS Cameras is not compatible with the Canon R5.

Q: 4. Can I use my FM transmitter with this system for our church broadcast. Needs an "out" port.?

A: Yes, you can use the Fender Passport Venue Series 2 portable PA with your FM transmitter for your church broadcast. Connect the mono 1/4" TS output from the Passport system's mixer to the input on your FM transmitter.

Q: 5. How long are the speaker cables?

A: At this time, the included cable length is not provided by the manufacturer.

Q: 6. Will this work with the mini XLR port in the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K?

Q: 7. How long is this cable? Is it measured in meter?

A: maybe 2 ft?

Q: 8. Does this send the same signal to both left and right inputs on the camera?

Q: 9. Can this system connect to stage monitors?

A: The Fender Passport Event Series 2 Portable Powered PA System's line output could be connected to an active stage monitor.

Q: 10. can this be used with microphones requiring plug in power? Not 48v phantom, but 1-3v?

A: This cable is intended to be used with dynamic mics and self-powered (battery) condenser mics.
