The cocoa Countryman E6i Directional Earset Mic, Low Gain with Detachable 1mm Cable and TA3F Connector for Audix Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6i earset's cable terminates to a TA3F connector for direct connection to Audix B60 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it can be used for DGPS antenna ??

A: These antenna cables are designed and specified for use with Wireless microphone antenna distribution systems. Unfortunately we do not offer DGPS systems here and can not confirm compatibility. I would recommend contacting the manufacturer of your device.

Q: 2. Is this also switchable to 220V as stated on website?

A: This operates at 110V only as stated on out website. Power 2 x 48V Phantom Power Output Operates on 110VAC (IEC Power Cord included).

Q: 3. Will this work with the Rode GO II mic transmitter?

A: Yes.

Q: 4. What's the transmit power of these antennas in db?

A: The transmit power is not specified by the manufacturer, sorry.

Q: 5. Do these work with the smart controller?

A: The DJI Transmission High-Gain Antenna Set (4-Pack) provides an SMA connection which the DJI Smart Controller accepts, but there is no guarantee of performance.

Q: 6. Can this be used with other than Audix mics?

A: It's actually a bit more complicated that John P's answer. You have to make sure the polarity on the mic you want to use is matched to the polarity of the power supply. I bought this power supply intending to use it with a non-Audix mic but the polarities were not matched and I only got a very faint, noisy signal. Bought an Audix mic and it works great.

Q: 7. Does it support Nikon DSLRs? I don't see any Nikons listed in the compatibility list!

A: Yes it does, but there are different packages for different cameras and you need to stipulate which you want. It wasn't clear on the site and I got the wrong one to start with. FYI, you can also use it with the TriggerTrap app. It's cheaper and no different.

Q: 8. Can this be used to supply power for the Electro-Voice RE92L?

A: The APS911 is designed for use with Audix mics that feature a mini XLR connection. Unfortunately not confirmed to operate with non Audix mics due to differences in mic wiring and power requirements.

Q: 9. Does this work with the new RODE Wireless Pro?

A: Yes, the RODE Interview GO Handheld Mic Adapter for the Wireless GO is also compatible with the Wireless PRO and Wireless ME transmitters.

Q: 10. Can I plug this in directly to a church PA system or does it need to go through a mixer?

A: The Audix APS2 only provides Phantom power to mics which require it. No preamplification. The outputs from the unit are mic level and can be connected to any device that features a mic input such as a mixer or PA system.
