The light beige B3 Omni Lavalier Mic, Standard Sens, with TA4F Connector for TBP12 Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a water-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone for capturing high-quality audio. It can be used in a variety of applications such as a tie-clip lavalier in interviews, a hair-hidden mic for drama, a water-resistant mic for water sports and hurricane reporting, or simply a small mic to hide in a prop flower vase.

The B3 capsule is resistant to moisture (IP67), which allows for placement in the hair or on bare skin, and its omnidirectional polar pattern minimizes handling noise, wind noise, and plosives (popping). Furthermore, a variety of skin-matching colors are available. This B3's cable terminates to a TA4F connector for direct connection to TBP12 Line 6 wireless bodypack transmitters Additionally, a carrying case, two cable clips, a windscreen, and three protective caps are also included.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B3 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B3 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B3 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB for wireless applications. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B3 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high-overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what is the warranty, and do they have good reliable warranty service?

A: This would come with a 1 year manufacturers warranty.

Q: 2. Can you tell me which is the transmitters version that you sell on B&H?

A: These are the USA legal versions.

Q: 3. How do you attach the mic transmitter to your body? Is there a belt clip?

A: Yes, the receivers come with a belt clip. If the subject is not wearing a belt, or if there are costumes involved, there is also a variety of belts available: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?ci=9758&fct=fct_case-type_1494%7ctransmitter-belts&N=4291074638

Q: 4. Does the receiver keep both lav mics on separate channels (so that one can easily pull and edit one mic audio on its own channel) or does it mix them up together?

A: The output mode of this wireless system can be selected to mono or stereo. When the output mode is mono, the audio from left and right channel will be mixed. When it is stereo, the left and right audio channel output will be separated. The system default is mono.

Q: 5. can you lock out the mute function on the transmitters?

A: Yes, you can lock the transmitter so the device can not be turned off or muted.

Q: 6. Just curious...will a Saramonic wireless transmitter (freq 530MHz for example) work with a Sennheiser receiver set to same freq.?

A: No, you typically can not mix different brands of wireless transmitters and receivers, so you would not be able to combine a Saramonic transmitter with a Sennheiser receiver, even if both are set to the same frequency.

Q: 7. Are there replacement lav mics available?

A: Yes

Q: 8. Can I have more than two transmitters with one receiver?

A: This is a dual receiver system that can be paired with only two transmitters.

Q: 9. Does the receiver needs to be plugged in with both XLR to the camera or you can simply use one if you are using only one transmitter ? I'm shooting with an FS7 and I would love to be able to leave my shotgun mic plugged in when only interviewing 1 person.

A: You will need to plug the 2 XLR connectors to the camera.

Q: 10. Can I connect transmitters with Sennheiser ME 2-II or they have a different thread?

A: No, the Sennheiser ME 2-II will not work with a Saramonic transmitter. Although Saramonic does use the same type of connector as Sennheiser (3.5mm locking), the internal wiring is different and is not compatible. However, the 3.5mm locking connectors used for Sony transmitters are wired with the same internal configuration as Saramonic, so you can use a Sony (or Sony-compatible) mic with a Saramonic transmitter.different. However, the 3.5mm locking connectors used for Sony transmitters are wired the same as Saramonic, so a Sony or Sony-compatible mic will work with a Saramonic transmitter.
