A: This should not effect the focusing system much. If you were using anything 6-stop or more, the you may see varying results, but because it is only a 3-stop, you would be more than fine.

Take the photo with a cable release or 2 second timerIt is for very long exposures for minute. Cool cloud effects. i doubt if you could see throu the 3 stop either. They all are for tripod use
