I got this monitor for a small workstation based on an Apple M1 Laptop. The size is perfect for 2 2/3 feet distance, wide enough for very confortable window management, resolution is great (don't need more for the size), and the image quality and accuracy is just great for that price range. I'm super happy working wholes days on this monitor, which I highly recommande. For video production small station, its size is perfect for a one monitor small workstation to properly set a stereo monitoring system at the right place for proper stereo image.

This monitor is very clear, bright, and has great color quality. I prefer the large flat screen that this one has to the curved ones I've tried - better clarity.

I highly recommend it.

The wait to get the BenQ PD3420Q was definitely worth it! I am a professional photographer and have taught digital photography for many years now and this monitor offers all the features I have been looking for. The 34 monitor offers a sweeping view for photos and video and the sRGB colors are beyond belief. Both Lightroom CC and Photoshop just come alive with consistent color and tone.
The monitor comes with all the cables you need to get going. In my case HDMI from my Max Mini M-1 into the BenQ with ease. The Hotkey Puck is a bonus to rapidly get to the right monitor settings depending on the project you are working on.
The BenQ instructionaL CD was a surprise as it came with the monitor.
However all the instructions for this monitor are on the BenQ website that a designer will need.
Yes, my workstation is complete and fast now thanks to B&H and BenQ!

I have used dozens of monitors over the last 20 years of photographing and here more recently, video. Immediately removing from the box and setting up was the easiest of any monitor I have owned. It literally took about 2 minutes to open the giant box, remove all the packaging and putting it together. The screen quality is astounding. It's not a 4k monitor, but I did no want that, as my previous experience with a 4k monitor have resulted in headaches for some weird reason. Regardless, the image quality rivals that of the Apple Retina. Yes, I have used them in my previous fulltime work. The puck is fantastic in that you can easily adjust the brightness by turning the knob and 3 other buttons that are useful. It has speakers, but I never use them, and who ever does??? If you are considering a widescreen, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and get this one and not one of the cheaper LG monitors. They do not compare to this. The extra screen has been a dream and the color reproduction is spot on right our of the box. Just get it.

This is a beautiful monitor. It's plenty large enough for my video editing needs and while I'm no colorist, I would say that the colors look good. The resolution is really incredible.

The inputs almost turn this into a hub. My only wish is that they would have gone all in and provided many more usb and thunderbolt plugs at full speed. But then this is a monitor and as a monitor it is a work of art.
