A: You are correct it can take a battery. It can use a 24v battery. Dracast just came out with a battery extender for their Fresnel lights.It is the Dracast Battery Extender B&H # DRBD4BS MFR # BD-4BS.It holds four V mount batteries and outputs 24v. It will last about 2-3 hours.
