The tan B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Very Low Sensitivity, with Detachable 3.5mm Locking Connector for Senal Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is the least sensitive mic and a good choice for instrument applications, opera, or where the microphone will be positioned very near the mouth. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Senal AWS-2000T wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Very low, mic near user's mouth.

Q: 1. How would I connect my macbook pro laptop with a earphone jack port to the receiver in this sennheiser wireless mic system? I doesn't come included as an accessory in the box. Is it this: Mogami Gold 3.5mm TRS to Dual 1/4" TS Accessory Cable (6')

A: You will need an interface with a XLR cable to connect this mic system to your computer. links below . any Questions please call B&H pro Audio or Video Chat Pro Audio . https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1479273-REG/focusrite_scarlett_solo_3g_scarlett_solo_usb_audio.html?sts=pi&pim=Y https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/318711-REG/Mogami_GOLD_STUDIO_06_Gold_Studio_XLR_Male.html

Q: 2. which frequency set is better? and what are the applications of each: A, A1, G?

A: In general, all of the frequency ranges offered for the Sennheiser EW 100 G4-ME2 Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System can be considered equal. One becomes better than the others when assessing factors such as location and other wireless systems existing and operating in the same environment. For instance, some cities have more open channels on a specific range than others. If this system is being integrated into a scenario with other wireless microphones, the existing frequency ranges of those microphones should also be taken into consideration when choosing a frequency for the Sennheiser. This system has 1,680 potential frequencies on each range and the ability to scan for the cleanest channel based on location, so it is hard to go wrong with any range.

Q: 3. Can I buy the Saramonic UWMIC9 RX9 + TX9 and later on buy and add a TX9? I don't see and option to buy just the TX9.

A: I purchased them all together because it was very an expensive, it may cost you more in the long run but I don't see why not

Q: 4. Will this work with iPad mini 5th generation?

A: Yes

Q: 5. What rechargeable battery pack does this take?

A: The transmitter uses the Sennheiser BA2015G2 battery pack and L2015G2 charging station. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/324393-REG/Sennheiser_BA2015G2_BA_2015G2_Rechargeable_Battery.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1367658-REG/sennheiser_k2015_charging_station_with.html

Q: 6. Will this power a DPA 4060 lav mic?

A: Yes the Saramonic UwMic9 will power a DPA 4060.

Q: 7. I got the dual person. It came with two XS Wireless packs. They both had the same frequency. How to chance one to a different frequency?

A: Changing frequency on the Sennheiser XSW 1 DUAL 2-Person Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System Kit can be initiated on the EM-XSW 1 Dual-Channel Stationary Receiver. First, press the Up/Down button on the specific receiver module you would like to change and select "Scan". Press the "Set" button next to activate this function, where the receiver will select an open channel. Next, power on your correlating transmitter and press the "Sync" button until the receiver's display flashes "SYNC". Finally, press the "Sync" button on the receiver to transfer the selected frequency to the transmitter. This process is described in further detail on page 11 of the system manual linked here: https://bhpho.to/3qHYANh

Q: 8. Can you use this receiver with multiple wireless microphones at the same time with each independent frequency? Like using a lavalier and a wireless microphone at the same time.

A: No. This receiver is a single channel so therefore only allows reception of one transmitter at a time.

Q: 9. Can anyone confirm if this system combines the two lav signals into a mono signal, or if you can output each lav to a discrete L or R channel?

A: When using one lav, if you set the receiver to mono, it will send the signal to both left and right channels. When using two lavs and set the receiver to stereo, it will send each mic to a discrete left and right channel.

Q: 10. Can this pair with the previous UwMic9 model?

A: No, components from the Saramonic UwMic9S KIT2 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System cannot be used together with components from the original UwMic9 series. The UwMic9S series is not backwards. However, the two separate systems can be used simultaneously.
