Paired with the DMW-AC10 AC ADAPTER f/LUMIX-F, I purchased two of these for my two GH5 video cameras for one specific project. The project was video-recording two 2-hour long dance recitals. Both cameras were on for each entire 2-hour dance program. The DC Coupler f/GH3 paired with the DMW-AC10 AC ADAPTER f/LUMIX-F1 make these long and continuous video-recording projects doable.

simple yet well constructed device to power my GH5S for videoconferencing. Sure saves a lot of concern about batteries going dead half way through the call. Also great for time lapse shooting where the camera remains on for a long period. I can leave the monitor on without worry of draining the battery too fast.

I needed this to use the Panasonic DMW-AC10 AC Adapter with my  LUMIX GH4 and GH5 Digital Cameras.  It simply replaces the camera battery and plugs into the A/C Adapter.  

Ordered it on Friday, it arrived on Tuesday with free shipping.

It works and gives me peace of mind knowing that it's made by Panasonic/for Panasonic... I needed to power my GH5 camera from an external brick battery. I found less expensive options but chose to use the Panasonic models to ensure proper connection. I have no idea if the others work well, but I did not want to take chances with a third-party option when it comes to Connecting my $2000 camera

I have two for each of my Gh5's. Even works on a GH4 if you have one for safety shots.

I tried to use an aftermarket version of this coupler and power supply with my GH5s and GH5 bodies, but they wouldn't work properly with the cameras. They just wouldn't function correctly.

So, I bit the bullet and bought three copies of this coupler and the Panasonic power supply version, all of which work fine. However, I think it's a HUGE rip off that I had to pay so much for them. Just another way for Panasonic (like all other manufacturers) to stick it to the consumer!!!

We needed for of these for our Panasonic GH5 cameras. We do video projects that are either recorded live or streamed. I tend to work as a one man band a lot so it I have 3 - 4 cameras set up I don't want to be running around changing batteries. This worked out well. One draw back is a little extra time on set up and tear down. Another possible drawback is that I don't know if have them plugged into the cameras for extremely long periods of time might damage the camera? So far they have worked with an hour or 2 at a time, but if it were to be 8 hours - not sure if that would be bad for the cameras.

The item was backordered, but well worth the wait. I can now confidently run my GH5 for extended periods of time without losing battery power or having to change the battery. It’s a bit expensive, however, it is a welcomed addition to my video studio.

When using the XLR box on the GH5, I found it draws a lot of battery power. When on a full day shoot, this is a must have. Needs this to work:
