The tan Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Standard Gain with Detachable 2mm Cable and 4-pin Hirose Connector for Azden Wireless Transmitters is a vocal microphone with a soft, flexible boom that facilitates its adjustment for different users. It's built with a larger silicone rubber earpiece making it better suited for situations when multiple users share the same mic.

The E6i earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6i earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the earset comes with three protective caps with different high-frequency response characteristics that control the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This omnidirectional E6i earset's cable terminates to a 4-pin Hirose connector for direct connection to Azden UHF 41BT wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6i is soft and highly flexible with a larger silicone rubber ear piece. When multiple users share a mic, the E6i is a great choice. The soft boom is durable and the flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different users.

The E6i's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6i earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. This omnidirectional version includes three protective caps—+4 dB (bright), +8 dB (very bright) and +0 dB (flat)—that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz.)

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The omnidirectional E6i earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. What is the difference between this item and the REMHIQHIRV2?

A: This is the same product.

Q: 2. When I plug my Hirose cable into one of the ports with the power turned on, the green light goes out. Is the device I'm trying to power (a Lumos 100MK) not compatible?

A: Unfortunately they are not compatible. The Lumos 100MK is a lighting product. The ABPAK External Power is for Pro Audio devices with 4 pin Hirose connectors.

Q: 3. Does this work worh D750?

A: Hello Darren. Thank you for your inquiry in regards to the SMX-30 Stereo/Mono Switchable Video Microphone. Yes, the SMX-30 is perfect for the Nikon D750. That particular DSLR is meant for filmmaking, including a 3.5mm mic jack and a headphone jack for monitoring as well. Make sure to go into the audio settings of the D750 and switch over to MANUAL mode to adjust your levels as desired depending on your application and the mic's output level.

Q: 4. does this have a headphone out?

A: No it does not have output for headphones.

Q: 5. Hi there. Would this work on the amaran P60x? I think this light needs to have both battery bays full. Cheers

A: This cable was designed for the P60c or P60x units.

Q: 6. How do you remove the input sled?

A: Hi Mikala. One simply needs to pull it away from the back of the unit at the right side of the mixer, near the letter "M" of "MixPre" printed on the top rear panel of the chassis.

Q: 7. I just received mine and it won't power my Canon CN7X17 from a generic 130Wh v-mount battery. Is there something I'm missing?

A: The IDX System Technology C-ZLPRO D-Tap to Hirose Cable for Canon CINE-SERVO Zoom Lenses (12.5") (B&H# IDCZLPRO) is compatible with the Canon CN7x17 KAS S Cine-Servo 17-120mm T2.95 (EF Mount) (B&H# CAE17120EF), so you will want to check for bent pins and also the voltage of your battery. (We've also emailed you.)

Q: 8. Does this come in a version where the 2-pin is a right angle?

A: Unfortunately, there is no alternate right angle cable option for the SmallHD D-Tap to 2-Pin Power Cable (36") from SmallHD. We suggest working with the Camvate model below. CAMVATE D-Tap to Right Angle 2-Pin LEMO Cable (Coiled) BH #CAC1983

Q: 9. What's the self noise level?

A: 82 dB, 1 kHz @ 1Pa

Q: 10. Will this power the Canon 18-80mm T4.4 Compact Servo lens? If not, what will?

A: The IDX System Technology C-ZLPRO D-Tap to Hirose Cable for Canon CINE-SERVO Zoom Lenses will not work with the Canon CN-E 18-80mm T4.4 COMPACT-SERVO Cinema Zoom Lens. It takes power from the camera. It cannot take power directly.
