The white B3 Omni Lavalier Mic, Standard Sens, with 4-Pin Female Proprietary Connector for Passport Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a water-resistant, miniature lavalier microphone for capturing high-quality audio. It can be used in a variety of applications such as a tie-clip lavalier in interviews, a hair-hidden mic for drama, a water-resistant mic for water sports and hurricane reporting, or simply a small mic to hide in a prop flower vase.

The B3 capsule is resistant to moisture (IP67), which allows for placement in the hair or on bare skin, and its omnidirectional polar pattern minimizes handling noise, wind noise, and plosives (popping). Furthermore, a variety of skin-matching colors are available. This B3's cable terminates to a 4-pin female proprietary connector for direct connection to Passport Fender wireless bodypack transmitters Additionally, a carrying case, two cable clips, a windscreen, and three protective caps are also included.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B3 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B3 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B3 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB for wireless applications. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B3 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high-overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the weight of this "Wacom One Standard Pen (White/Gray)"?

A: The manufacturer has not specified the weight of the Wacom One Standard Pen.

Q: 2. How can I mount it to a BMPCC 6K PRO?

A: The receiver will mount in a shoe. Yuu can use this adapter here: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/860269-REG/Revo_sa_cs_14m_Hot_Shoe_to_1_4.html?sts=pi&pim=Y

Q: 3. I see that it records up to 24 hours of internal memory but it only runs for 7 hours on a single charge, is it possible to power this with an external power bank?

A: Yes, you can power the Wireless Go II receiver and transmitters with an external USB power bank.

Q: 4. Why did they not include a button on the wireless go II to begin and stop recording? i've spent over an hour trying to get it to record and it wont. firmware up to date and when connected to rode central on windows 10, no option to begin recording.

A: The Wireless GO II's on-board recording function is enabled and disabled via the RØDE Central app. Once the transmitter and receiver are paired, the recording begin automatically. This recording option is provided for back up purposes.

Q: 5. Can you use two of these units in the same room to provide 4 lav mics?

A: Yes, two units (4 mics) in the same room will work.

Q: 6. Looking to use this both on a set and in the field. I would prefer a way to hide the mics when on set, what is the range of quality audio pickup (say if it was placed on the table out of sight) or would it still pick up that quality audio under a jacket or shirt?

A: Any microphone will give you it's best sound when placed closest to the subject you are trying to record avoid having it far from the subject you recording, the best recommendation I can give while using this system is to add a 3.5mm lavalier microphone, lavalier microphones are meant to be used on the subject you recording giving you the best sound and are small making it easy to hide so it's not being seen in the video. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1558252-REG/rode_lavgow_lavalier_go_professional_grade_wearable.html

Q: 7. Can I use any USB C to USB C cable for recording with an Android phone? Or do I need the cable Rode makes?

A: Any USB cable that will carry data will work.

Q: 8. Are they 2 recorded files (file #1 for mic #1 and file #2 for mic #2) or it is a one merged file (stereo for mic#1 and mic#2). Since there is only one output on the received, I would assume there will be only one channel. I am not sure if an XLR split could resolve that?

A: The Wireless GO II offers stereo or dual-mono output modes which allows the audio from each transmitter to be routed and recorded to a separate channel so you will hear one mic on the left and one mic on the right, or the audio from both transmitters can be mixed together and recorded identically to hear both mics combined on the left and right channels. Audio can also be recorded directly onto each of the transmitters and you would be able to download the separate recorded files from each transmitter onto your computer.

Q: 9. How does this compare to the rode filmmaker?

A: The Wireless GO II System is more versatile than the Filmmaker Kit and offers more features. The receiver has two separate channels that allow it to be used with two transmitters at the same time, The transmitters also have onboard recorders that can capture up to seven hours of uncompressed 24-bit / 48 kHz WAV audio or 24 hours of compressed audio directly to each transmitter without the need for an SD card. The free Rode Central app (currently for Mac and Windows -- iOS and Android compatibility coming soon) allows you to access the recording features and adjust settings, then export and optimize the recorded files from each transmitter and save them to a computer in various formats such as MP3 or WAV in 16-, 24-, or 32-bit float. The Wireless GO II also uses new patent-pending technology with 128-bit encryption that provides clear audio transmission up to 656 feet (line of sight). It's an impressive system.

Q: 10. If the battery last for say 7 hours of filming, could you have both transmitters charged and then when one dies, basically have the other transmitter ready? I'm asking because say you are doing a long day of interviews or events and I'm only working with one person at a time, it seems like a great idea if this could as you use one unit at a time.

A: Yes. That is a good idea .Pairing is very quick too.
