The 18" D.A.S. Audio ACTION-S18A is a 1500W powered subwoofer that’s portable, versatile, and simple to use. It is designed to supplement a main PA speaker, offering a louder and deeper bass extension to the ACTION-508A, -512A, -515A, or any full-range PA speaker, and it's suitable for audiences up to 300. The onboard DSP processing, 2-input mixer, and LCD interface with easy-to-use presets help working presenters, musicians, instructors, performers, and A/V providers get powerful, clean, and clear sound quickly.

The subwoofer provides 134 dB of peak SPL—plenty of volume for mid-sized venues including houses of worship, conference centers, performance spaces, and meeting rooms. The highly efficient 1500W Class-D amplifier powers the 18” woofer, providing a deep, clean, and detailed bass response with a frequency range of from 125 down to 35 Hz.

The rear panel offers two inputs. Inputs 1 and 2 feature line-level combo XLR-1/4" connectors. Two XLR Thru-Outputs are available for daisy-chaining to additional subwoofer / speakers. All inputs are mixed to a mono signal internally. For a true stereo L/R operation, two S18As are needed with each to receive independent the left and right signals respectively. The ACTION-S18A ships with a standard IEC power cord.

  A: You need an interface for good sound basically you would come output from interface connected to KRK sub inputs then 2 more xlr cables from the output of KRK sub into Rokit 8's input or if you dont want an interface you can connect a 3.5mm jack into computer with 2 male xlr on the other end connect that to KRK sub then 2 more cables xlr calbes from sub to Rokit 8's..   Q: 2. Can this be used with HS80M monitors? I've noticed that this subwoofer has a very different frequency response curve to the now discontinued HS10W subwoofer that was designed for the HS80M monitors.

  A: Contacted Yamaha and they assure me that it can be used with HS80M monitors. Frequency response is different as the HS8S can go as low as 22hz (HS10W was 30hz). You just need to adjust the cross over frequency until it best complements the HS80M monitors.

  Q: 3. Hello ,may i know how to order the 220v svs subwoofer?

  A: We do not offer the unit in 220V. The amp itself is made as 220v, but the manufacture puts a jumper on the amp that converts it to 110V. To convert the amp back to 220v, you would need to remove the jumper from the amp and use a 220v power cord. For this you would need to contact the manufacture for the instructions to do so.

  A: It is dual voltage. It requires 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, SVS confirmed.
